Can Inspiration

Be Found

Through Tragedy?

We all have reasons to complain,

but sometimes our reasons seem

pretty small when we step back and

look at what the other guys have or

don't have.

Thanks to Dan Graham for sending this disturbing but meaningful message.

I'm changing Dan's message a little to adapt this for use to

an EcoQuest audience. Dan, I hope you understand.

No one who sees this page will will ever have a day as bad

as those depicted in these emotional and disturbing photos.

We live in a safe, wonderful and comfortable country.

Most of us are a lot healthier than these starving people.

But not all of us are healthy. If you are suffering from bad health,

you definitely have my sympathy and best wishes.

I urge you to use our Infinity2, enzyme-based nutritional products

...and to work hard at your EcoQuest business

...and to find ways to donate funds or help out politically

so some of these tortured people

can see a few moments of hope.

There will not be enough charity or governmental support to make

a lasting difference for even a fraction of all the suffering people.

I'm sad to say that the best we can do is give some of them

a few smiles between now and when they die.

It's sad. But that's about all they can hope for.

Even the seemingly unlimited generosity of Americans cannot

save all the tortured people on earth. I want to be honest about that.

A mouthful of bread or a drink of fairly clean water would be

greatly appreciated by these people. You and I can occasionally

make small things like this possible for them.

They, in turn, provide inspiration for us.

I hope you feel inspired. I certainly do.

Make no mistake. Value can be extracted from tragedy.

I thank Dan Graham who sent this to Gina Scott and I thank

Gina who sent it to me. It helps me appreciate all my

blessings a little more. I'll do what I can.
