October 2006 Email Follows This Story

Colleen & John Quintana

Carlsbad, CA

Colleen attended an EcoQuest briefing near the end of January 2003. She went to do her mother a favor, and had no thought of signing up. Even when she went to lunch after the meeting, she wasn't thinking about EcoQuest at all.

I guess her mom, Carroll MacDonald, was pretty effective! Colleen decided to go back to Diane Barrette's home and buy a Success Pack. Her goal was to earn $6,000 to put her kids in a Christian school.

Two years later, Colleen was recognized as #1 is the BMW competition for 2004. She won a Caribbean cruise, an onboard suite, and a $10,000 bonus ... oh yes, and a BMW! She was also one of the highest point winners in the 2004 President's Club competition. The family earned a trip to Hawaii and another of those $10,000 special checks.

Despite all these successes, Colleen is always looking for new ways to improve her marketing. The tactic shown below was recommended by Presidential Master Manager Bob Giddens. This idea was reinforced in October 2006 and is outlined in an email that follows this story.

---   ---   ---

Dear Colleen:

Take inventory of your group: Send two emails: One for KNOWN WORKERS (Dear Leader) and one for your large number of UNKNOWNS (Dear Dealer).

Dear Leaders:

This is my 4th of July declaration. "I will survey my whole group in the next two weeks and make a special offer to all who show a certain commitment to EcoQuest."

Will you help me identify who these people are -- can you find 1, 2, or perhaps more, who really want to change their lives? That's what we have to do, you know! We have to find people who WANT to change their lives. There's not much we can do with people who do not want to change.

I want you to call each and every dealer in your group and ask where they stand on this point. Take a one-time poll. You may have a resource out there that could be worth a million dollars over the next ten years. Let's find out. Who are the best dealers in your group? If not dealers, who are you Six Most Wanted prospects?

And where do YOU stand? Please get back to me by phone and/or email. We have to talk.

Sincerely,

Colleen Quintana

Dear Dealers:

Several wonderful new things have been announced by EcoQuest. Where do you stand? Do you want to be in the loop?

Hi, I'm Colleen Quintana, and you probably know the basics of my story. We've earned over $400,000 plus 3 cars and some nice trips. Much more lies ahead.

Now I am trying to identify the people from the downline who want to change their lives, too. Are you one of these? I'm not asking if you can give me 60 hours a week. I want to know if you are open to success? If things could change in an amazing way, and if they could be done within the framework of your life, would you be willing to:

w  make a commitment

w  open up to personal development

w  learn to be a professional in EcoQuest

w  seek out others who want to change their lives

Let me start by asking you to call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx. If you are a candidate, we need to talk. No matter what level you are below me, I will make a serious commitment to supporting you. I also will be asking you to make a Six Most Wanted list of the six people you most want to recruit into EcoQuest.

Sincerely,

Colleen Quintana

Maybe you can use some of these ideas.

Sincerely,

Bob Giddens

Email covering 2007 Leader Development Plan

Dear Emailers,

Some valuable thoughts are being developed by Colleen Quintana. She asked for some strategic advice and we worked up the following letter. Would you like to adapt this letter for your own group?

Colleen Quintana, a teacher for autistic children, had never worked with adults. Her initial goal was to earn $6,000 in a year so she could send her children to a Christian school. After becoming a Sales Manager in 4 months and a car qualifier in 7, she went on to earn a Caribbean cruise, a family trip to Hawaii, and over $150,000 in her second year. Their new million dollar California home is something they never would have dreamed of.

Dear (send this to your key leader candidates -- existing dealers or prospects),

Only my top candidates will receive this email. It contains suggestions from EcoQuest's most successful networker, Bob Giddens.

As we turn the calendar into 2007, I intend to build a stronger-than-ever leader network. Identifying my top people is a one-person-at-a-time proposition, and today I am asking you! If it were possible to build something strong, exciting and lasting by the end of 2007, would you take a serious look at the plan?

I'm doing it, and my goal has 3 elements. I want EcoQuest to work for my own family. I want to build an income that will be secure forever. Next, I want to help make this dream work for you, too. Finally, I want many others to join us in this winner's circle.

I want to know where you stand. Even if there has been no activity yet, do you have a vision of building EcoQuest as a career? If so, are you ready to take some definite first steps? I don't want you think in terms of being "just a Manager." I want you to succeed in a bigger way, as a Key or Master Manager. Nor do I want you to aim for 5,000 QV. I want your aim to be much higher. How about 50,000 QV in your open group (that would generate a $10,000 bonus check)? I also want you to have strong Managers, Keys and Masters under you.

I want your bonus checks to reach $10,000 and higher. In this case, you will always be a bonus car winner and you will earn many free trips.

To achieve a high level of success you must do some things differently from what most EcoQuesters so. You must adopt some serious goals, bring in new recruits every month, sell according to your skill and duplicate this plan in your downline. You must be a LEADER, which means giving meetings, writing group emails, having conference calls and more. You will focus on finding leaders at all levels in your group (see the 5 qualities we expect of leaders further along in this email).

Here are the goals Bob Giddens set when he joined EQ in 1995:

1. I will talk to no fewer than 5 new people per day, every day. (I will record all my contacts and their details in a Spiral Notebook system.)

2. My goal will be to identify at least 1 new "leader type" per week [Bob eventually averaged 3 leaders per week in the downline and was up to 50,000 PV per month with 43 leaders after 92 days.]

3. I will convey a clear message: EcoQuest has a huge future and I am looking for LEADERS.

4. I will constantly sort through my prospects and dealers to make sure I knew which ones fit best into my plan (I can't afford to fool myself or put my energies in the wrong place).

5. I understand that a Leg is not a Strong Leg until my top leader is backed up with 3 or more additional leaders.

6. I will build geographical diversity into my group.

7. I will set the best possible example for my group.

8. I will build 20 Legs in width ASAP (not easy; it won't happen overnight).

9. I will invest 4 nights per week as meeting nights; I will also be creative in figuring out how to do meetings at other times to as to recapture some of my nights!

10. I will do good pre-meeting work with my prospects and leaders.

11. I will do good follow-up with the best prospects from each meeting.

12. As soon as possible, I will get my downliners to adopt these or similar goals because no one person can handle all the work that these goals are capable of producing.

EcoQuest is an incredible company, with great potential, excellent products and an outstanding opportunity. You are a person who can make this a reality if you want it, believe in it, focus and work. Here is a representation of the goal Bob suggests for a top EcoQuester.

1R.........2R........3R.......4R......5R........6R........7R.......8R........9R......10R.....11R.....12R..................20R

11..11..11..11..11..11..11..11..11..11..11..11..........

111..............................111.........................111.........................

1111..........................111............................11.............................

.........................................................................111...............................

This organization extends to 20-wide, and the goal is to have Strong Legs. By the time you get to 12 (if the Legs really are strong), you'll be earning $25,000 to 40,000 per month. Strong Legs have these qualities: [1] A committed leader at the top, [2] additional strong leaders in the downline, [3] all leaders are doing some selling (varies according to their skill), [4] all are recruiting (varies according to their skill), [5] all are providing leadership to their groups (according to their skills and circumstances).

Some of your Legs should be Super Legsyour future Keys and Masters. "Mark my word," says Bob, "you will not be completely happy with your Master Managership until you have developed some downline Keys and Masters. If you are not backed up with a strong downline network, your checks will sometimes be disappointing and your group will often be in some sort of crisis."

When Bob attended his first meeting in Minnesota in 1995, he was an unknown guest from Florida. Near the end of the meeting he was asked if he would like to comment. This is more or less what was said: "I've been in network marketing for 25 years and have seen a lot of programs. This one has some unique positives and enormous potential. Among the positives are these: First, you have a product that allows people to make money even if they are not good recruiters. This makes the program workable for many more people and really sets you apart from other programs. Second, your product is different and unique. There aren't 100 other companies selling more or less the same thing. Third, you have the intensity and focus of Mike Jackson. I met Mike about 8 years ago and, although we haven't been in contact, I know how much power he has when he sets his mind to something. He's the kind of guy who could build this company to a billion dollars and then run for President of the United States one day."

Do you want great success in EcoQuest? If so, we need to get you focused on building a strong group, with the right structure...and we need to pass this philosophy along to all levels in your downline. A healthy network must be developed in such a way that it will perpetuate.

I look forward to your response,

Your signature

The 11/11 VisionQuest meeting is 10 days away. A person who wants to turn over a new leaf can do a lot in 10 days. If you are going to Kingsport for the event, why not show up with your head of steam already warmed up to (or near) the boiling point? The ideas in this letter can help. Thanks to Colleen Quintana and her upline Master Diane Barrette for helping to launch and formulate this campaign.

Sincerely and enthusiastically,

Bob Giddens

 Nutritional Regimen

My husband is not a believer in supplements or is lazy or both. Apparently, it is too difficult for him to remember or want to take a pill. If I am standing next to him taking my Essentials for Life and I pour him a glass of juice and select the 2 pills–he will swallow! So we can’t count him as an EcoQuest soldier!! Sadly and ironically, he is the one who needs our products due to history of gastro-intestinal distress (already had his gallbladder removed); overweight; family history of diabetes; achy joints due to years of Hobe-cat sailing; and elevated liver enzymes from years of undiagnosed lyme disease!!

I take the following:

Essentials for Life - I started because I wanted to be a good example to my group. I have continued because I was able to prove to myself and others that I improved by ability to fight chronic re-occurring laryngitis which I battled for years until I started taking our supplements. Another change I observed is that I am no longer intolerant to milk!

I must say that the NUTRITION calls in the morning have made me more of a believer. I have observed how I have changed just because I’ve been involved in these calls–it’s the secret weapon, I believe. Problem for the masses: most people are at work or don’t want to pay for the minutes on their cell. Even though they are recorded and I highlight the BEST ONES from time to time and offer them to folks via iACT, no one ever seems to take advantage of going back to listen.

DIGEST A MEAL - Recently ran out of the supply that was in my mini office and haven’t replenished yet. I know Essentials for Life helps you to get all the nutrients out of your food so I am saving a little money by leaving out Digest a Meal. My husband probably needs to walk around with a bottle of these in his pocket, but he won't.

IMMUNE PLUS - I was taking this daily because I was under the impression that it was a good preventative. I have since learned from Shan Stratton on the Nutrition Calls that I should be taking TOTAL FLORA as my immune booster and reserve IMMUNE PLUS for when I actually start to get sick. Old habits die hard, however. My head tells me (and even the product name implies) that I will be boosting my Immune System with this.

SUPER ANTI OXIDANT - This is a supplement I have added in the last 2 months, probably because Dr. Allan talks about taking it every Wed morning. I know this product is also built into the Essentials for Life, so I don’t really know how I rationalized that it is good to take this extra supplement but not TOTAL FLORA???!!!! Go figure.

WOMEN’s FORMULA - No brainer. I’m 45+, was experiencing symptoms of menopause, and now they have stopped (no more waking up soaking wet in the middle of the night).

CHELATED MINERAL COMPLEX - I have started to take because I had it in my mini-office and I ran out of HEALTHY BONES & TEETH. I desperately need help with my nails. I’ve been taking HEALTHY BONES & TEETH for quite awhile–was hoping for more dramatic results with the nails on my big toes which were damaged when I dropped heavy cases of cookies on my feet during my prior career as a Pepperidge Farm Route Sales Rep. I’m really not sure of the difference between these 2 products but I’m going to stick with either one as part of my daily routine hoping that I can restore some good health into my nails (hair is absolutely fine).

The Enzyme Diet - I was living a lie by telling my children they must eat breakfast before school and I personally had nothing but coffee and OJ 'til 11 am when I would stop by the Dunkin Donuts and grab a bagel or muffin or donut with more coffee! Decided to make a change and began TED with fruit and  SOY milk every morning. (I had really wanted to start SOY in my diet but couldn’t tolerate the taste). I now really miss TED when I skip it. I have always been thin, I feel like I have added a pound or two which doesn’t bother me very much because I feel like I am being more healthy and caring for my body. If I can find the time to get back into YOGA – I believe the weight will reverse again.

E3 - As a result of starting TED, I’ve lost my desire for coffee! I am trying to increase my water intake because during a facial I was told I was dehydrated (no surprise to me – I’m a camel). So every afternoon I now fill a 24 oz water bottle with water and e3 and finish it. My 12-year old will drink it if there is nothing else in the house. The other kids won’t touch it!

AS NEEDED - During the winter we had Echinacea on hand at all times. Anytime someone came in with a sniffle we passed around the bottle. The children are 12, 10, 9, and 3. They were not sick at all this winter–we fought back…even beating the stomach virus my husband brought home during Christmas vacation! I have the 2 oldest boys taking Essentials for Life each morning–that’s it. The #2 son also has been taking Super Antioxidants and Immune Plus since his seasonal allergies started.  We’ve gotten past the worst–this time last year he was on a nebulizer because the Seasonal Allergies went straight into Asthma! AMAZING!!!!

INFI AID - I also opened a bottle of InfiAid recently for me. I had on high heels that really pulled some muscles so I thought I’d experiment. Between that and the pain cream–pain was eliminated. I also shared half the bottle with a friend who is in constant pain with inflamed disc in her back. No feedback yet.

GINKGO BILOBA - Am doing battle with my brain about opening the Ginkgo Biloba. I have so much going on in my life that I’m dreaming that this herb will sharpen the brain cells that are being maxed out…but I think I’m fearful of using it–don’t know why–it’s just a little voice in my head saying…don’t mess with the brain! Irrational I know, but I’m sharing all the thought processes for purposes of your research!

That’s about it for The LeBoeuf Family. Hope you find this info useful as you continue to develop the Consumables Division. The Gift Cards are a GREAT first step! I will order mine today.

Sincerely,

Colleen LeBoeuf
