Welcome to the open version of...
"All of the Benefits, None of the Pressures."
This site was
prepared for a test group. This slightly different version contains
training of a general nature...with the experimental materials
removed. As to the test...if it helps increase sponsoring and
productivity it may be adopted companywide. That would be up to Mike
Jackson. Our goal is to allow the biggest
variety of people to participate and succeed with EcoQuest.
Anyone who joins a multilevel
marketing program is always
concerned about the ease or difficulty
of recruiting.
This is what we are working on with
our test.
If EcoQuest has a
22-year history, you may wonder, why are we testing a new system? Because time
marches on and there is always room for improvement! ABNP is being
tested during the spring and summer of 2008. People from many
backgrounds, ages, and skill levels join our company, and perhaps
the only thing we all have in common is that we can all enjoy and
benefit from EcoQuest products.
The program we are
testing features six interesting and popular introductory
products. We
don't require everyone to be excited about each and every
item. Our training will inform you about these products, and you
can decide which ones to be excited about. EcoQuest products stand
on their merits. We must simply tell our story; good results will
follow.
Fresh Air - air and surface purification
DuctwoRx - forced air duct system for heating
and cooling systems
LaundryPure - processes washing machine water
for detergent-free washing in cold water
Living Water Ultra - uses gravity filtration to
make perfect drinking water
PowerwoRx-e3 - allows a homeowner to save money
on electrical power
Essentials For Life - whole-food nutritional
system with enzymes and flora
Consider this
headline—
No company in network marketing
—past or present—has ever offered
such a unique, beneficial, and
environmentally-supportive family of
products.
Many people join
EcoQuest to make money. Others join because the products make sense. In
either case, we count on you to spread our story (at
least a little).
Readers who are not a
part of the ABNP test group may participate in their own way by
bringing three new dealers per month to the company....
...and by being an
Autoship participant.
...and by starting with a Wellness Business Pack.
Simple and straightforward. Other details will be covered through
our day-by-day training, conference calls, and direct help from your
sponsor and/or Manager. Stay tuned and spread the word!
Again, we welcome you
to EcoQuest.

Here I am in
EcoQuest. Why did I join and what do I want out of it? This short
session is mainly a preview about the ABNP six products. The Day 3
gets into network marketing.
|
Do I just want to benefit from the products and
introduce a few people each month to the company...
without worrying about income or advancement? That would
allow me to enjoy all the benefits with none of the
hassles...just as this program proclaims. |
Would a nice, part-time monthly income be right for me?
I can build a small network by bringing in three people
per month and letting the chips fall where they may.
I can make retail sales at my own pace. |
Would I like to build this into a full time career?
Maybe even a HIGH income?
Will I be
happy with $150K per year or
do I want to be the Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan of
EcoQuest? |
As a new person, I have an opportunity to get off to a
fast start, so I should review the above options and ask myself how
I really feel. I can upgrade
or downgrade later if I want.
Let's start by thinking about the Big 6
products. How committed am I to these products?
|
Fresh Air
-
Do I understand what indoor air purification is all
about? House dust is 80% human skin. Dusty areas are
like luxury resorts for bacteria, mold spores, and
viruses. Do I want my home to smell fresh? Free from
foods smells, people smells, pet smells, and
construction material chemicals? Do I want to sleep in
air purified comfort? Do I want the microbiological
safety this technology provides? Do I really believe all
these things are possible? Does anyone in my family have
breathing issues? For business reasons, do I want to
be a living example of my product? As a new dealer, my
wholesale cost for a Fresh Air will be $479 (with
a little extra added for shipping).
If I put that on a credit card I can pay $30 or $50 a
month and work it off slowly. I can buy a 3-pack of
Fresh Airs for $1,422. I can buy a
Success
Pack for $2,495 and get a
Living Proof demo unit as part of the deal. This
will also boost me up to the Senior Dealer rank. A
Master Pack will boost me to the Master Dealer rank (see
lesson 5). |
|
DuctwoRx
-
This is a best seller in the company and #1 in the
commercial division. Do I have a forced air
heating/cooling system? Is this a product I want to
install (takes
15 minutes and a wrench)?
Will I be talking to air conditioning professionals? A
DuctwoRx will cost me
$495, but it comes with a $100 installation
certificate. |
|
LaundryPure
-
Is this for me? Am I an environmental-minded person?
Does my family do a lot of laundry. Do I want fluffier
towels without dryer sheets. As a new dealer, a
LaundryPure
will cost me
$439. |
|
Living Water Ultra
-
This is not our only water product, but it is the one we
decided to showcase as part of the "All of the Benefits,
None of the Pressures" program. This system uses gravity
filtration to make perfect drinking water. I can make my
own bottled water. A
Living Water
Ultra will cost me
$159 or $139, depending on whether I choose the
floor model or the countertop model (the
only difference is the stand). |
|
PowerwoRx-e3
-
This is going to be a
great door
opener. Do I want to install one on my home to save
money...to make an environmental statement...or to help
my marketing. As a new dealer, my cost will be
$382.
This is currently the hottest item in EcoQuest. |
Today's reading
assignment will help
you decide how serious you are. It's up to you, but it would be a
good idea
to discuss your first impressions with your sponsor and/or Manager. Ask
about
what products they have and how they are working? Ask if they have
made many sales and if the profits are good. Ask about their
recruiting.
Your Day 3 reading
assignment will take you one step
further.

There's a rule
about goal setting that really is powerful. It doesn't fit with
every kind of goal, but it works in network building:
Whatever you want to accomplish,
double it!
If you have
decided you are a category A person, this really doesn't apply. Or
does it? At least for the first month, tell a few friends about your
new project and see what happens. If you find that people are
showing an interest, see if you can get a few of them on the dotted
line...as if you were a full participant. The category A pitch goes
like this:
|
by email, phone, postcard,
or personal contact...
Hey, Pat! I found an interesting $25 proposition and
have decided to participate. It has an environmental
angle, a health angle, an energy savings angle, and a
moneymaking angle. I'm not into the moneymaking, but
maybe you will be. How about checking this out?
Use your regular presentation
website!

Eventually you may receive this
short message from someone else. All things being equal,
I'd rather have you sign up under me if you like what
you see!
My email: someaddress@domain.com |
If you are a
category B or C person, you can use a slightly different version of
this card. The difference might be in how many cards you send out! A
person in category C might send 1,000 of these every month. As far
as your friends are concerned, you might want to call them first and
use this card as a follow-up message. The category B/C pitch might
be:
|
by email, phone, postcard,
or personal contact...
Hey, Dale! I found an exciting $25 proposition and have
decided to participate. It has an environmental angle,
an energy savings angle, a health angle, and a
moneymaking angle. A lot of "deals" get talked about,
but nothing else is quite like this. Here is the web
page:

The place to start
with network goal setting is to determine your own level of
commitment and determination. How bad do you want success? Then ask
yourself what income that commitment (weak,
medium, large, or massive) is likely to generate.
If you are going
to sign up exactly three per month (doubling it
to six is still a good idea) but not take the other
aspects of the business seriously, you are a category B person.
Now let us look at
the concept of "legs." A leg begins when you recruit someone. That
leg includes all the people who join downline from that starting
point. So there are many possibilities.
|
Stump Leg
One
lonely person that you have recruited. If that person
does no recruiting, it remains a small leg, which we
jokingly refer to as a stump. But let's be clear.
EcoQuest has thousands of stumps and we love them! As
long as they are active users of our products, they are
important members of our system. |
Weak Leg
A weak leg consists of numerous people (from
two to two hundred)
but no serious leader...or maybe a "serious" leader
candidate who has not yet found his or her stride. |
Leg Leader Leg
A
leg leader leg refers to a network that functions as a
productive unit with one effective leader but no
downline leaders.
|
Medium
Leg
A medium leg is one that has several downline leaders (at
least 3, which we call "anchors")
and good month-to-month productivity, but no massive
leader. |
Strong Leg
A
strong leg has several leg leaders and at least
one effective and fully committed leader who is working
to become a Master Manager. |
|
For career planning purposes, estimate these values for
each type of leg... |
|
Stumps
For planning
purposes, expect to earn about $10 per month times the
number of active Stumps you have. That comes to $120 per
year per stump. Not bad. But you won't get ahead if you
spend all your time working with stumps. In effect, they
are customers. |
Weak Legs
For
planning, weak legs count as groups of stumps. A weak
leg that has 5 active people will be worth $50. |
Leg Leader Legs
Once you
advance to the Manager level, this kind of leg can be
estimated at $200 per month.
When
properly led (by you), these legs will also be bringing
in good numbers of new recruits. |
Medium Legs
You can
figure that a medium leg will be worth $600 per month.
The values of these different types of legs will vary
greatly from leg to leg and from month to month. |
Strong Legs
Also called
Power Legs, these are the mother lode. Finding good
people and helping them become strong legs is the path
to making big money.
Each strong
leg will be worth $1,000 to $5,000 per month, possibly
more. |
|
Here's how a goal might be mapped out. "I'm going to
build this many legs..."
Note that most of your
income
comes from your seven best
legs. |
|
20 Stumps
$200/mo. |
6
Weak
$300/mo. |
5
Leg Leaders
$1,000/mo. |
4
Medium
$2,400/mo. |
3
Strong
$9,000/mo. |
There are many
success formulas. Look here
to see the estimated value of 308 active people in a network that
emphasizes the nutrition products.
Let's say you add
up the incomes shown above ($200 + $300 + $1,000
+ $2,400 + $9,000 = $12,900) and you like what you see as
a monthly income goal. How many people will you have to recruit to
find 3 strong leaders and 4 medium leaders? That is the big
question. Will you have to recruit 70 to end up with 7 who are
distinguished? Or maybe the number will be 140. Do you think 1
person out of 20 can cut the mustard in a big way?
The way to find
out is to start recruiting.
As your group
grows, remember to do the leadership steps, not just the recruiting.

EcoQuest's technology
sales plan has been in place for about 20 years.
Let's explain the
origins of our company. In its earliest days, the company name was
Alpine Air Products and the home office was in Minnesota. The first
dealer, Conroe Erickson, was a guy who learned selling during the
Depression (in the thirties). His routine was
to work with 5 or 10 air purifiers. On Mon/Tues he looked for
people who had asthma or allergies (who would have a
greater than average desire for clean air) and he'd put demo
units into their homes on trial. He'd follow up the next day by
phone and ask how they were doing. Then on Thurs/Fri he'd
go back and close the sales or pick up the units that didn't sell (those
units would be cleaned and used the following week). By
asking a simple closing question—"Were you able to breathe and sleep
better with this unit cleaning your air?"—he turned six or seven out of ten
demos into sales.
|
Conroe was
earning $250 per unit back in 1987. Even at the lowest
rank, EcoQuest dealers still earn $250 per unit on
retail sales in 2008. For a person with sales skills or
a natural market, there's big money to be made through
selling. |
When the fledgling
company was able to build enough units to handle other dealers,
Conroe recruited Reub Prinzing, who in turn recruited Keith Jones,
who got Wayne Zimmermann. They came from varied backgrounds, but all
of these guys were pretty good sellers.
With these gentlemen
as the role models, when a sales plan was created, the personal
quotas were established. At the time, they didn't seem to be high
quotas at all.
In those early years,
the company put very little emphasis on recruiting and a lot of
emphasis on selling. It
was thought by some that if they got too many dealers, there
wouldn't be enough market for everyone. Since selling was a big part
of the company culture at that time, most new people joined with
selling in mind. The ones who couldn't sell dropped out.
Mike Jackson came
along in 1994. Mike came from a network marketing background where
selling had been secondary to recruiting. Mike had plenty of sales
ability, but his goal for the company was to increase the field
force by teaching people to do more recruiting. "If we are
doing $7 million a year with only a few hundred active dealers, we
can do $50 million once we have more dealers."
A year later the
company was recruiting 2,000 dealers per month and sales were
through the roof. The quotas were never lowered. New people weren't
too troubled by the quotas, but after few months, some people burned
out on having to make sales and gave up the ghost. The company
accepted the attrition those quotas caused.
The days of having
just a small number of highly productive dealers are long gone. The
ABNP goal for
2008 is to boost recruiting to 10,000 new dealers per
month and really shake up the numbers. Can you help? Can you
get your three per month? Or more than three? If you can,
very big rewards are possible!
Large numbers of new
people will buy more products of their own volition than small
numbers of new people who are pressured to make initial purchases.
A new person can't do the Conroe Erickson system unless you
have some air units on hand to sell; so we offer a Success Pack
starter system for people of that inclination. But the Conroe
Erickson system isn't the only way.
We want you
and each person under you to decide for himself. The proposition we
want you to present is simple:
1. A person can sign up for only $25.
2. There is no initial purchase
requirement.
3. We have unique, interesting, and
excellent products, which we believe you will buy on your own.
Tomorrow's lesson
will cover (a) how you advance up the ranks, (b) what the
rank-by-rank quotas are, and (c) how does the nutrition side of
EcoQuest work with its Autoshipment and Wellness Business Pack
systems.

what is here. Use this page as an ongoing resource, and

No need to memorize
this page! Remember that it's here, and return to it when you have
questions about the plan.
If you worked at a
bank and earned $3,000 per month, what would be the size of your
biweekly paycheck? Could you compute the healthcare deductions,
income tax deductions, unemployment deductions, etc.? Of course not!
No one figures his own pay because of all the details. The payroll
department does that.
Therefore, do not
feel frustrated if you do not grasp every last detail of the two
EcoQuest Pay Plans. People have made millions of dollars with these
plans. Here are some general guidelines.
1. The biggest
profits available to new Business Owners (dealers)
are from retail sales of Technology products.
Robia Turner,
23, joined in the summer of 2007 and has averaged 1 sale per day.
Some of his sales have been $60...his big ones have been $3,000 and
up...and his typical sales have been $750. Excellent sales training
is available
here.
2. On the
Consumables side, the biggest early profits are Wellness Business
Pack bonuses. To be eligible for these, you must buy a Wellness
Business Pack one time. Then you earn $125 on first generation WBPs
and $250 on second generation WBPs. You've just been introduced to a
new term, generation. If someone in your downline has not bought a
WBP, that person does not count as a generation for this purpose.
Wellness Business Packs ordered below that position roll up to the
qualified people.
3. Many Business
Owners do not focus on moving up in rank. Thousands of EcoQuesters
remain below the Sales Manager level. They appreciate earning
bonuses when business is generated by their people; but they do not
make personal sales every month.
4. Business
Owners who qualify for Sales Manager usually reach the 15,000 QV
level for the first time when they have 30 to 50 dealers that are
working on the Technology side. Some Nutrition dealers use
technology products but do not participate in technology marketing
unless a lucky sale drops in their lap.
This income model shows
how 30+ Technology people can be developed if the initial emphasis
is on Nutrition.
5. A Sales
Manager who does 50,000 QV on the technology side can expect to
receive a $12,000 bonus check (a
little more, a little less - it depends on his group's structure)
for that month. Many of his dealers will also be Autoship buyers of
nutrition products; so he'll get a consumables check, as
well.
6.
Top Master Managers have earned
$250,000 to $1,000,000 per year. In a few cases, very strong Key
Managers have earned $150,000 to $700,000.

Technology
Plan Rank Structure |
|
|
EcoQuest's dual plan system
(Technology/Consumables) takes into
consideration the fact that
technology orders are large but
non-repeating, whereas nutrition
orders are smaller but ongoing.
A
technology dealer is more likely to
need hands-on training and
managerial support; therefore, the
Technology Plan is a "breakaway"
plan, which is the most proven long
term system in the history of
networking. Incentives in the
breakaway system motivate its
leaders to remain qualified to
support their people.
EcoQuest's Consumables plan begins
with a "unilevel" structure that
allows hands-off growth, but adds
breakaway bonuses at the Director
and Regional Director levels so our
most effective network builders can
make executive levels of income.

Let's be honest.
Some newcomers to EcoQuest will enjoy these daily lessons and others
will see them as a burden. Please remember:
1. These daily
lessons are optional. When we say "None of the Pressures," we mean
it! You can skip the lessons entirely or just read the ones that
seem interesting. If your upline leader is sending too many emails,
let him know. Here are some of the possibilities...
ü
Dear Sponsor: I'm only in this in a
casual way. Don't sent me more than 1 email per week unless
something really earthshaking comes up. Thanks.
ü
Dear Sponsor: I appreciate your
emails. Keep 'em coming. If I get a hot prospect online, will you
help me talk them into the program?
ü
Dear Sponsor: Call me! This program is
interesting, but I'm getting overloaded with emails and webpages. I
need some telephone coaching. I do plan to do it!
ü
Dear Sponsor: I'm not a computer
person. Can you print out these lessons and send them by mail? I
promise to glance at them and keep a file folder! Maybe I'll read
them, maybe not.
ü
Dear Sponsor: Don't take me out of
your thoughts, but take me off your regular email list. Don't get me
wrong, I like EcoQuest; I just don't want to be bothered with
emails.

Congratulations! You just
completed a daily reading assignment. We encourage you to
proceed through the assignments at a rate of one per day, or
whatever is convenient for you. If you feel aggressive and
want to move ahead, that's fine. But please try to avoid "training
overload." We want your EcoQuest experience to be enjoyable and effective.

This training page
came in handy this morning. I received a referral from a very
satisfied EcoQuest customer. You'll see that I used the
Day 2 suggested reading to make my icebreaking
approach.
The panels I used
contain wholesale prices and links to material for dealers.
Therefore, it would be difficult to convert this person to a retail
sale. In this case, I'm not trying to keep that option open. I was
told that this guy has a regular job and also raises dogs.
You have the
option to remove the pricing links. You also have the option to clip
out any of the products you would rather not include. If you do
that, be sure to change the number
six in the second
paragraph.
Xxxxxxx wrote to each
of us and suggested this contact. He says you are in
Florida. Where? I live on the north side of Orlando
and I'm doing a presentation in Lakeland on Tuesday
night if that happens to be convenient to you.
Thought I would start with that.
Our company has an interesting mix of technologies,
and we have always been popular with pet owners
because of odor control. I'll send this summary of
six products just to see if you might want to talk.

Fresh Air
-
Do I understand what indoor air
purification is all about? House dust is
80% human skin. Dusty areas (including
dirty HVAC filters) are
like luxury resorts for bacteria, mold
spores, and viruses. Do I want my home
to smell fresh? Free from foods smells,
people smells, pet smells, and
construction material chemicals? Do I
want to sleep in air purified comfort?
Do I want the microbiological safety
this technology provides? Do I really
believe all these things are possible?
Does anyone in my family have
breathing issues?
For business reasons, do I want to be a
living example of my product? As a new
dealer, my
wholesale cost
for a Fresh Air will be $479 (with
a little extra added for shipping).
If I put that on a credit card I can pay
$30 or $50 a month and work it off
slowly. I can buy a 3-pack of Fresh Airs
for $1,422. I can buy a
Success Pack for $2,495 and get a
Living Proof demo unit as part of
the deal. This will also boost me up to
the Senior Dealer rank. A Master Pack
will boost me to the Master Dealer rank
(see lesson 5). |
|
DuctwoRx
-
This is a best seller in the company and #1
in the commercial division. Do I have a
forced air heating/cooling system? Is this a
product I want to install (takes
15 minutes and a wrench)?
Will I be talking to air conditioning
professionals? A DuctwoRx will cost me
$495, but it comes with a $100
installation certificate. |
|
LaundryPure
-
Is this for me? Am I an environmental-minded
person? Does my family do a lot of laundry.
Do I want fluffier towels without dryer
sheets. As a new dealer, a
LaundryPure will cost me
$439. |
|
Living
Water Ultra
-
This is not our only water product, but it
is the one we decided to showcase as part of
the "All of the Benefits, None of the
Pressures" program. This system uses gravity
filtration to make perfect drinking water. I
can make my own bottled water. A
Living Water Ultra will cost me
$159 or $139, depending on whether I
choose the floor model or the countertop
model (the only
difference is the stand). |
|
PowerwoRx-e3
-
This is going to be a
great door opener. Do I want to install
one on my home to save money...to make an
environmental statement...or to help my
marketing. As a new dealer, my cost will be
$382. This is currently the hottest item
in EcoQuest. |

Monday through
Saturday, at 9:30 AM Eastern time, the Morning Nutrition calls run about 30 minutes.
We have a different host each morning so the information will be
varied. On Saturday morning we cover LaundryPure for the first 15
minutes.
Monday through
Friday, at 10:00 PM Eastern time, the Lifeline call runs about 15
minutes. This company overview call features Mike Jackson and/or
other company leaders. The Lifeline call begins at noon Eastern time
on Saturdays.
Each Wednesday, from
10:15 to 11:15 PM Eastern time (immediately following
Lifeline), we have a training program. The theme changes from
week to week.
If you are asked to
be a guest speaker, these guidelines would apply:
1. You will be
invited to talk about your general experience with EcoQuest or about
some specific technique you are using. Help the host by sticking
faithfully to your assigned topic!
2. Use a land
line phone if at all possible and speak strongly into the phone.
3. Have this goal
in mind: To help the listeners. Ideally, you would like to help
make a profound difference for someone else.
4. Do not give
long, rambling answers. Tell your story concisely and honestly.
Allow the host to ask questions.
5. Once you have
been a guest, you will know the speaker code. Do not use this code
at other times. Use the normal listener code: 546009#.
Who should listen to
conference calls and why?
1. New
participants (for motivation
and information).
2. Recruiters and
their guests (to convince the
guest and explain EcoQuest)
3. Anyone and
everyone (to hear stories,
learn phrasing, pick up ideas, increase confidence)
4. Future leaders
(prepare yourself to be a
conference call host)
