Our
first cruise ship sale was three years ago. We met a
need concerning a sewage gas odor getting into the
passenger areas. Even though that problem was resolved,
there was still a relationship-building period that was
important to the success we are seeing now.
The
process of making the first sale of an entire ship began
when we were introduced to the DuctwoRx. It gave us a
product that would work for that industry.
We attended the commercial training so we would know all
of the equipment and how it works. We then attended any
training that was available to continue learning. We
still do this. This includes Success Institute,
conventions and corporate training. Developing our own
personal belief system in the product meant believing in
the company itself, in meeting and getting to know the
corporate staff and many top leaders, and in the
integrity of the company.
We
then began researching to find the decision maker for
each of the cruise lines. It began with the technical
engineers and grew from there. The important part was
the research. This has applied to every area of our
business. It is the same with the continuing education
programs we offer to architects and the building
industry that we set up. We researched and found who
were the decision makers and then found a way to
establish a relationship with them and to build on that
relationship. It was not a matter of going in and
trying to make a sale! It was and still is a
matter of finding a need and meeting that need. The
cruise industry was a little tough in the beginning, but
now referrals are starting to come in from our initial
work and we are moving on to other cruise lines and
resorts and developers and the list keeps getting
bigger.

Rental Charges for Turbo Zone
In residential and light commercial we charge $1,850
for a 12 hour sanitization, $ 2,250 for a 24 hour
sanitization, and $1,250 for each additional 24 hour
period that may be needed based on the size and
infestation of the home or building.
In larger commercial jobs we charge by the cubic
foot. Our prices are $.04 per cubic foot for a
building that has tested positive for mold or other
contaminates but does not have a visible
infestation. When we sanitize a building with a
major mold issue (lots of visible mold, etc.) we
charge $.08 per cubic foot. Our largest sanitization
invoice to date paid a little over $49,000.00. It is
a part of the business we are active in and enjoy.
We always include INDUCT installs as a part of our
sanitization quotes and in most cases install them
just before the sanitization begins.
We loan our Turbo Zones at no charge to business
owners that are sanitizing their own home or using
it for a demo but if they have a paying job we
charge them a rental of $100.00 per day. This
encourages them to get their own equipment and keeps
this all running as a real business.
