Heartland Select Pre-Launch Package Approach

Hey, John. How are you doing? (Small Talk)

John, I don't know if you would be interested or not, but if I could show you how you could make up to $1,875 in as little as two weeks, would that be worth 15 minutes of your time?

You will get one of 3 possible responses:

     No

    Yes

    Doing What?

If "yes" or "doing what?":

Okay, do you have a pen and paper handy? I am going to send you to my Web site for some information. How quickly do you think you will be able to go to the site?

Wait for response.

Great. The web address is www.infinity2.com. Once there, take a look at the Essentials for Life and then the Heartland functional beverage. Next, click on Share Products/Earn Money. You will be able to view a PowerPoint presentation on how you can make up to $1,875 in as little as two weeks.

Again, I don't know if this will be a fit for you or not. I will call you back and if it is, I can get you some more information. If not, that's ok too.

Now you said you can go to the Web site ____ (the time they told you), is that correct?

Ok, why don't I call you at _______? Will that work for you?

This 80-page booklet ($9 includes mailing) may be the most valuable read you will ever find. It explains and discusses the health implications of the amazing Muscadine grape, the #1 ingredient (of four) in the Heartland Select health blend.

Muscadines are an American fruit (endemic to the Southeast US, where the heat and humidity are right) and can properly be termed a berry or a grape. [Click HERE to view the North Carolina Muscadine Grape Association.] Unlike table or wine grapes from America, Europe, South America or elsewhere, Muscadines have a more complex biochemistry.

The term “phyto-chemical” describes the almost infinite variety of natural compounds that exist in nature. The plant kingdom is so vast and varied that thousands or even millions of potentially important phytochemicals remain in hiding. Cures for many diseases—including problems associated with aging—lie undiscovered somewhere in the world’s forests, oceans and hedgerows.

Heartland Select gives consumers access to the exciting buffet of phytochemicals that are found in Muscadines and two other grape species that make up the Heartland Select blend.

Phytochemical-rich pomace, made from the seeds and skins of grapes, is ingredient number four. The blend of three natural fruits and muscadine pomace has resulted in a superior phytochemical drink, Heartland Select. Heartland’s margin of antioxidant superiority over Acai, Mangosteen, Noni and Goji blends is dramatic.

Phytochemical drinks are pricey, so why use a 50% to 75% less potent product when Heartland Select is roughly the same cost per bottle and so much more potent? The ORAC per serving is right on the label of every bottle (see graphic)!

Common standards of comparison: ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity, a system for comparing the antioxidant value of foods. ORAC was developed by the National Institute on Aging, a department of the National Institutes of Health. For most Americans, an extra daily ORAC intake of 3764 would more than double the fresh fruit and vegetable intake quotient of their normal routine.

The FRAP assay measures the antioxidant potential of biological fluids and represents yet another option for analysis. TEAC, the Trolox Equivalent Antioxidant Capacity assay, evaluates antioxidant strength using vitamin E as a standard. In other words, all three systems are measuring antioxidant potency, but in different ways.

Heartland Select muscadine blend is more effective at blocking glycation than the top selling blends featuring acai (a blend with 19 fruits), mangosteen (a blend with other juices), noni (a blend with other juices), or goji (a blend with other juices). In this test, each formulated product was diluted 1 to 500.

Other fruit blends are good and some are very popular. Heartland Select proudly displays its ORAC value per serving on the label and tastes like perfect grape juice (we gag with some of the others). The cost is about the same for all. As you can see, the health value is not...and ORAC is not the only basis for comparison!

This powerful book presents 397 biomedical references at the end.

Most people will not read Muscadine Health from start to finish in one sitting. It is well written and easy to enjoy, but its scope is vast. Readers find themselves thinking in depth about each section and not wanting to move ahead too fast.

As an American, I felt a sense of national pride when I went to the Web to read some Muscadine history. Many Native Americans used this fruit for food and both the Cherokee and Creek nations used them in medicinal ways. The European explorers and settlers were similarly impressed…

"Grapes of such greatness, yet wild, as France, Spain, nor Italy hath no greater”

…wrote the governor of North Carolina in 1585 in a letter to Sir Walter Raleigh.

The white or bronze variety of muscadine are called Scuppernongs, and here is how their nutritional value is described in traditional terms: Scuppernongs and Muscadines are high in Vitamin C and contain potassium, Vitamin B, and trace minerals; they are naturally low in sodium and free of fat and cholesterol. When measuring, 2 cups of scuppernongs equals 3/4 pound.

Southern good ol’ boys have been eating scuppernongs and muscadines—and drinking wine made from the berries—since before the Revolutionary War, but the more sophisticated qualities of this food were unknown until the last ten years. The authors of Muscadine Health, who also work as consultants to Heartland, are the world’s leading experts in this bonanza of Twenty-first Century science.

A preview on Metabolic Syndrome, one of the most important concepts discussed in this book:

“Persons with metabolic syndrome have a marked risk of developing overt diabetes, heart disease, atherosclerosis and stroke. Metabolic syndrome is in epidemic proportions in all populations that are wealthy enough to eat a modern calorific diet while maintaining relatively sedentary work and life styles. Europeans have decided to find a solution with the LIPGENE research project (references given). The goal is to develop a strategy to alter dietary patterns to prevent metabolic syndrome. European estimates suggest that 10-20% of current middle-aged and elderly men and 10-25% of middle-aged to elderly women have metabolic syndrome. US statistics are much higher, perhaps twice this rate. Fortunately, this epidemic is a reversible tragedy in our opinion.”

Muscadine Health (the book) and Heartland Select (the health product that comes in a wine bottle and tastes like delicious grape juice) can change your life. Contact the person who shared this newsletter with you and arrange to try one 25-ounce bottle (12 servings) or to order a case (4 bottles).

Nutrition Call – June 27, 2008

Featuring Jennifer Ferniza, Certified Clinical Nutrionist for Infinity2 and Michele Jones, Master Manager

Notes complied by Ev Nelson and Pat Ferguison

Our topic today is the new Heartland Select product, Muscadine Juice (nutraceutical beverage).

Even though we were just introduced to Heartland Select, we are already hearing of sideline benefits including sounder sleep, mental brightness and regularity.

Jack Wilder was introduced to the Muscadine grape concept last August/September and called Jen telling her he needed her input and explanation of what he’d found. Jen visited Muscadine vineyards with Jack and Diane Hartle, Ph.D. to decide what could and needed to be done with this product. They wanted to it to have a superior and unique use of antioxidants. They wanted to be able to put ingredients back into the juice to actually make it better.

There are Muscadine grape juice products on the market. It is important to understand that this product is actually a blend of four significant ingredients. It is much more than juice thus much more effective than Muscadine grape juice alone. Simply stated, just buying Muscadine juice won’t do the same thing as Heartland Select. There is every day juice and then there is the nutraceutical quality Heartland Select.

Jen went on to explain that ordinary juice doesn’t use pomace. Pomace is what is left after the juice is all squeezed out of the grapes. It’s this pomace of grape skins and seeds that contains a lot more antioxidants – the highest resveratrol amounts. This is the benefit of using the whole grape. The pomace is actually dried and made into a powder that is of pharmaceutal quality. It is a highly concentrated source of antioxidants. Adding the pumice back into the blend is a really complex process.  A capsule will eventually be coming, too!

The quality of antioxidants also depends on the way the juice is processed. The Heartland Select the juice is made just as the grapes are harvested in the fall to get the freshest juice.  Most juices use a cold process which most think would be best.  Jen explained that Heartland uses heat for extraction of the juice which actually increases the levels of antioxidants. The heat enhances the antioxidants with a small amount of a beneficial yeast. This is also true of tomatoes. When they are  processed with heat, higher levels of licopenes result.

After processing, the bottles of juice are kept in cold storage at the vineyard and will be shipped from that location. Another harvest is just around the corner.  We are securing as much of the crop as we can so we can fill the demand for the product.

What makes the grape so special?

It is grown in a sandy clay soil and has a high tolerance for heat and lack of rain. It is also a limited product.  It has an extra pair of chromosomes (20 pair compared to 19 in Concord and European varieties) giving them more genetic material and thus more nutrients and more antioxidants.

Because of the way the Muscadine grape grows, they are only found  in the SE U.S. and only a few vineyards actually grow it right. Heartland Select has been a family-run vineyard for generations. This vineyard grows their grapes differently. The soil is l is cared for, treated and certified as organic. The non-organic soils use no pesticides and will be certified as organic in the future. The family has always done things this way for a low impact on the environment. Jen and Diane and Jack tasted grapes from several vineyards and this one had the best taste of all they tested.

The superiority of this product is shown in many charts in the book, Muscadine Health from Dr. Hartle’s studies and research.

Polyphenols have proven to be a great benefit for prostate health. They also work to balance blood sugars. Major research is underway regarding the effect on blood sugar levels. Heartland Select actually becomes a super food able to help fight and work to prevent  many diseases explained very well in the book.

There is no CAeDS in this product because CAeds cannot be used in a liquid. There still is great absorption because of the processing methods used.

Jen recommends using Infinity2’s Essentials For Life because we need the enzymes and the other nutrients in the formula. What about Infinity2’s Life Force Super Antioxidant formula? Continue to use them as there are additional antioxidants in them that are not found in grapes.  Organic Olive extract and beta-carotenes and lutein are some of the additional antioxidants in Infinity2’s antioxidant product.

The Heartland Select juice is so concentrated and packed with as much as possible, which bumps us up to prevention levels.

Using the USDA recommended daily food intake we would get 3000 – 5000 ORAC units

For disease prevention levels should be 7000 ORAC units

By eating recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables daily, we get 700 ORAC units per serving.

As stated in a circle on the label, the Muscadine Juice from Heartland Select contains 3764 ORAC units per serving. There are no sugars and no fillers.

Other products often state the ORAC units of the fruit that is used or amount per liter or per milliliter. Heartland Select contains 63,000 ORAC units per liter.

Consumers want to see what they get when using products per the recommended serving.

Dry foods measure ORAC score in grams.

Jen says – so bump yourself back up by eating 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.  You will get lutein and selenium, which have horrible ORAC scores, but we need these phytonutrients.. Eat the rainbow of colors with fresh foods. Phytonutrients help ‘phyte’ disease.

Cost of the Muscadine Juice is $139 for case of 4 bottles, which is about $35 per bottle.  Add it to your AAA order to receive free shipping.  With the 4 bottles, use 3 for your monthly supply and share the 4th bottle with others.  Recommended dose is 1 oz in the morning and 1 oz in the evening.  It can be diluted or it can be added to your TED shake.

Jen’s 4-year-old daughter asks for her ‘orange juice with a splash of her grape juice’.  Jen, being pregnant knows how important the mother’s diet and level of nutrition is and that it impacts the baby’s future health and genetic code.  She advocates Infinity2 nutritional supplements along with Muscadine Juice as an important add-on product.

Heartland Select Muscadine Juice is safe for diabetics.  It contains natural occurring sugar as well as other ingredients helpful to phyte complications of diabetes.  Anti-glycation (sp?) measures how much sugar gets stuck to proteins (red blood cells) that cause problems for a diabetic with their feet and eyes.  Preliminary research shows phytochemicals slow this down.  We want things free flowing.  This also slows the process of thrombosis.

Jen has Fact Sheets coming soon.  There will be basic education pieces to provide a good understanding for all your people..  It’s important to bring science down to a level that makes sense to people.  The Muscadine Health books can be ordered from MAC for $7 each or 4 for $20  They are an invaluable source of information to share NOW.

Add Muscadine Juice for a bio-chemical “oomph”!  That’s what her bio-chemistry professor would say, Jen said, to explain the energizing benefits of good nutrition.

In the book when showing comparisons to other grape juices the actual product names are not used because of liability issues.  People will know what company and products they are anyway.  For example, any gogi juice will have the same results as the juice product advertised under that name.  The same name grape, acai, mangosteeen will be clear as to the Company representing the juice.  The Muscadine tastes better and contains 2 ˝ higher antioxidant levels.  We don’t need to slam the competition.

Michele suggested having a Juice Tasting Party.  Serve it chilled – no ice
