March Online Newsletter

hope, attitude, belief, actiondetermination and positive expectancy

by chippynews.com

Bob Giddens was in Alabama and Tennessee in February and he returned to Florida with this message:

I am beginning to see a seasonal increased in business, which we refer to as the spring surge. Here in Orlando azalea blossoms are evident and new leaves are coming out on my banana trees. My northern friends have 2 or 3 months before their spring hits, but the "figurative spring" of new EcoQuest business is definitely upon us.

You'll know what I mean when you listen to the Training Call that featured Eddie Saenz (http://playaudio-234.com/play.asp?m=278286&f=BPURFT&ps=7&p=1) from New Mexico and Brian & Kari Anderson (http://playaudio-234.com/play.asp?m=278314&f=WEYVDC&ps=7&p=1) from Arizona.

Here's Karen Halaby's take on that call: "Bob, the call last night was very excellent. It taught what can be done with our business right from the beginning and also that EcoQuest attracts people from all walks of life. It was wonderful! I think we will get some terrific results from sharing it.

Here's another sign of spring from Cliff Boxer in Idaho, where the days and nights are still very icy...

"We tested LaundryPure at a Home & Garden show in Nampa. Normally we generate 50 to 70 leads at this medium sized show with our air and water systems. Attendance was normal, 5,000 to 7,000 people, but this year we generated 225 leads! We should close 25% to 50% based on past experience. The customers walking by were drawn to LaundryPure like moths to a light bulb. The light caught their attention, as did the concept and the product name. They were at first curious, then intrigued, then excited. Here's some of what we heard: 'You mean I will never have to buy laundry detergent again? Wow, that's cool.' And, 'Really! How does it work? What a great idea! I need to show this to my daughter.' Some people asked if they could test it first or wanted a guarantee. But most wanted a product as quickly as we could get it to them. A few asked for a payment plan. Some told us they expected a $1,200 price tag; whereas others said they could not afford it. Women and men listened intently to every word we said. They asked good questions and, in the end, were ready for the next step. I created two marketing pages. One was an entry form for a free LaundryPure [Note: We allowed the customer to enter for a Fresh Air if that was the product they were more focused on]. It is handy that the two items are selling for the same price. When they separated the entry from their 'receipt,' they were left with a picture of LaundryPure with the benefits bulleted (use this link to write your flier). Because the product is not yet available, and because they were at the show, we gave them a $50 gift certificate for LaundryPure, redeemable when we come out to their home with the product. [Hint for trade show people: The unit needs to be running to get their maximum attention. No light, no excitement. We had a plumber set up a system for running the unit and recycling the water continuously."]

"We had 4 or 5 Business Owners in our booth at all times, and we were constantly busy. We ended up with business prospects, as well as customers. Other vendors came to talk to us and see the excitement. We were the main attraction at the show! In future shows, we will add a sign or banner that says, Product of the Century. LaundryPure will be extremely viral (as in contagious excitement). When we asked lady customers if they could get 5 of their friends to come to their home to see their unit if we would give $50 for each one sold, each said yes without hesitation. Its done! Absolutely! Name the time! You could see them lining up the people in their minds. LP has WOW! I used a microphone, which was extremely effective to draw people in. Then we explained LP to 2 to 10 viewers at a time. This product has party plan potential, trade show potential and any other type of potential. I see a dealer explosion coming, led by the women we initially sell this product to. I'd say that 8 of 10 people were either interested or very interested. That is the bottom line. Even after 10 or even 50 years of doing laundry, they were willing to give up their soap. They want this product. Period! These customers were seriously excited. They read a benefits board (part of our booth) word for word. The rest is up to us. If you're doing a big show, consider going the extra mile with a double booth. People will linger longer and you will need the room. The more people in the booth, the more excitement. I envision a quad booth with 4 LaundryPures back-to back-to-back in the middle. We will put LP in the middle of our double booth next time, air and water at both corners. Most of the customers' attention was initially directed to LP but we have dozens of Fresh Air and Living Water placements, too! We are sending a letter (including our product catalog) to every prospect thanking him or her for visiting our booth. We'll announce that they will soon be hearing from us. Our next Boise show is March 16 - 19. It will be 2 or 3 times the size of this show -- 10 to 20 ,000 people! Its almost unbelievable. We are just so fired up! Thanks for the privilege to test LaundryPure in a show setting. 'What you see is what you get ... so be sure that what you see is what you want.' I am so excited about our future!"

Back to the spring surge theme.... My daughter Michelle was signing up a lady Online this morning, Cindy Dakan, from El Paso. She is under the Eddie I interviewed on Wednesday's Training Call. Cindy asked Michelle to hold and came back: "That was my friend, Letty. She's signing up with a Success Pack, too." Did you get that? Cindy was sponsoring her first Business Owner at the same instant that she, herself, was signing up.

Yes, the spring surge has begun. Don't waste a single day of it.

Who's to say that your big moment isn't going to happen tomorrow? [be patient while the video loads -- it may take a minute]

Your life could turn around on a dime if you were to sponsor 2 or 3 or 4 or 6 hot new Business Owners in the next month or two ... and, like Jason McElwain, we never know when a hot run might start. In a surprisingly short period, an EQ career can go from "hopeless and despondent" to "totally exciting" and "on track toward financial independence." No matter how disappointing last month or yesterday was, there's always today.

Watch this story once more. Here is a slightly different view of the same event:

A little good luck would be nice, but that's not directly under your control. What is under your control are six factors: hope, attitude, belief, actiondetermination and positive expectancy.

Watch these news clips several times. Let Jason's big moment help usher in a lifetime of big moments for you and for some of your friends. For goodness sake, share this!

Sincerely and enthusiastically,

Bob Giddens
