I hope this letter finds you and your family happy and in good health.

I am writing to announce some good news in the (your families name) family and to ask a small favor of you. Just recently, we have obtained a dealership for a technology company that is one of the fastest growing in America – EcoQuest International. We provide compact state-of-the-art electronic air and water purification equipment for commercial, industrial and residential applications along with a host of other appliances for healthier indoor living. The primary air purification technology we are learning to use is so advanced that even the Pentagon used it after 9-11 and the Red Cross used it during the California wildfires.

You may have seen news of the company on TV or read about it in business magazines. If you listen to the radio, most likely you have heard our spots with Pat Boone, Dr. Laura and other well-know personalities (The original product is called the Living Air Classic and the more modern and advanced model is called Fresh Air).

The reason for this company’s extraordinary growth is timing! During our training we have been surprised to discover that allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems are on the increase, with nearly 60% of the population suffering to some degree. According to the EPA, indoor air can be up to 5 times more polluted than outside air, even in cities like Los Angeles! They also report that indoor air pollution is the number one environmental health threat in America. In addition to the chemicals, airborne dust particles, pollens, pesticides, bacteria, dust mites, and mold spores that plague our homes and offices, many people additionally pollute their own air with chemical-laden furnishings, cigarette smoke, pet dander, kitty litter boxes, and household cleaning products.

Electrical engineer, Bill Converse, invented this life-changing technology, which can literally reproduce mountain-fresh air indoors. There are millions of our units in homes and commercial buildings worldwide. Our most popular product is a microprocessor-based technology that is designed so that the air never has to be sucked to the purifier. One purifier will treat an entire house of up to 3,000 sq. ft. This electronic marvel, about the size of a small stereo speaker, replicates the cleansing power of a thunderstorm to purify and sanitize indoor air and surfaces throughout your home. We are using this technology in our own home and are amazed at the difference in our air quality. We have researched the market for clean, fresh, indoor air and found that it is huge! I’ll give you a list of things you can do with the product such as purifying your duct work, mattresses, closets, any musty areas, even make your worst tennis shoes or your car smell brand new! Of course, after you see how the purifier performs, any referrals you can give me to people who have allergies, asthma, and smoking or pet odor problems would be appreciated. They will thank you too, since our technology may provide them some relief by cleaning up the air they breathe. You can trust me to treat them right.

Lastly, we are looking for a few business minded people to help us with our new business venture and have some excellent position slots to fill. I would appreciate any recommendations you may give me for good men and women who may want to earn full or part-time income working with us. Candidates should enjoy helping people, be teachable, have a solid work ethic, and be able to put in at least 8-10 hours per week, working by appointment from home. Those with leadership skills may qualify for a manager position, which offers a generous compensation plan and benefits including factory career training, profit sharing, travel/entertainment expense account, and a company-paid new car.
