From Rick DeMarco, Vice President in EcoQuest and General Manager of activTek Environmental:

We will enter the commercial side of PowerwoRx one step at a time. We are thinking of starting with one general purpose 3-phase commercial unit for 280/380 amps. The product or products we introduce may or may not be identical to the units that are listed in this chart. But I believe this chart will be helpful for some people.

Dear EcoQuest Leaders:

Let me separate the products and opportunity on the commercial side into two pieces; the light commercial application and the larger industrial one.

For light commercial, we are still working on pricing for 4 additional units.  The chart above gives you the specs on these.  These would be 3 phase units with 240, 380, 480 and 600 volts. Sale of these would require some training, but not as intensive as will be needed to sell into the larger industrial markets. They are, in effect, commercial versions of the E3 residential unit and could be used in public buildings or light commercial settings. We have been working with Continental on securing these models, but the pricing is causing some concern over our collective ability to stay competitive. We are working on our options regarding lowering the cost and obviously the pricing of these units. My best guess is that the commercial units would be available sometime in mid June or later.

Another issue is that the commercial units are manufactured  in the same facility as the residential E3. In conjunction with pricing and the transfer of the manufacturing of the E3 to Greeneville, we are also faced with managing total available capacity of the current facility to meet the needs of the residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

Regarding the larger industrial opportunities, this will involve extensive training in understanding how to customize the solution based on the amount of inductive load.  This has a longer lead time because we have to determine how to train the field on sizing equipment. We will explore options for providing support to our business owners who want to pursue the larger industrial jobs.  We would anticipate that we will have a solution in mid to late June (or July) for these larger markets.
