The Post-Recession/

Baby Boom II era...

Economic news and an economic choice...

1.  Within a few years the Recession will be ancient history. People with money will have an advantage; poor people will be at a disadvantage. Inflation will be coming on strong.

2.  The job market will remain sluggish. Regrettable as that is, it need not bother you. Unemployment will not impact a guy who sits atop a large Vollara network.

A pro forma...

is a set of rules and a model that shows potential or anticipated results based on a given set of assumptions. In other words, what would happen if...

1. An excellent business-building pace would be to personally recruit 1 distributor per week with a $597 LaundryPure Pack for 2 years. This is not just a good goal; it is also a reasonable goal.

a. You would personally recruit 52 LaundryPure Pack distributors per year. Look at what this would do... 

b. You'll move to the L6 Executive rank within 6 months, maybe sooner. Some of your people will also buy Fast Start Packs. Some will become recruiters; some will not.

c. You'll be eligible for the Cycle Bonus when you reach L6. With your personal recruiting at 4 LaundryPure Packs per month, your L6 group recruiting will probably be at 20 per month. This will produce $2,100 per month in Cycle Bonus.

2. What if 75% of your people drop out after the first month and 25% remain as product users and/or networkers?

a. Your attrition experience will depend on the quality of the people you recruit, the accuracy of the recruiting story you tell, and your skill as a network leader.

b. If this statistic works out perfectly for you, you will have 13 personal recruits or "legs" at the end 1 year.

c. Retention begins with the example you set as a product usage role model, as a conference call participant, as a recruiter, as a communicator, as a hard worker, etc.

Network building can sometimes feels like 4 steps forward and 3 steps back. But networking is a powerful concept. Once it takes hold, it can last for life.

Attrition is a normal phenomenon.

 

Usually a strong leader has less attrition and a weak leader has more.

Leader Development/Personal Growth

Let's continue with our pro forma...

3. In each 3-month period you will recruit 13 new distributors with Fast Start Packs (only 3 will be leaders). And only half of those 3 will succeed long term. That rate of progress will take you to 12 good legs in 2 years.

a. In addition to your 13 LaundryPure Packs, 2 of your people will also buy Fast Start Essentials Plus Packs. This adds up to 3,950 QV (not counting autoshipments and other orders). You'll earn 10% or 15%—about $500.

b. By the next 3-month period you will have 3 leader legs and you will reach Level 5.

c. By the end of 9 months you will have 4.5 leader legs and be reaching the Executive level.

d. As 1 year draws to a close you will have 6 leader legs.

The starting point to achieve this growth profile? Recruit 1 good person per week.

You have 46 "other recruits" that we call dropouts. Some of these will be product users. Some will generate referrals or make occasional orders. At least half will disappear completely.

 

Sometimes you can dig a leg leader from down under one of your "others." A good leg from ANY DEPTH will be just as valuable as one you personally recruit.

4. How will Vollara compare to being hired as a manager trainee or apprentice with a traditional employer?

a. In a new job you will be excited and feel quite secure with your trainee/apprentice position. Your heart will be filled with hope, dreams, and optimism.

b. For your job, you will get up early 5 days a week (sometimes more) and go to work for 8 or 9 solid hours. A significant amount of time may be needed for driving to and from work.

c. In the case of the job, your parents and friends will pat you on the back and speak in positive terms about your future.

d. Initially, "job work" will seem interesting because everything is new. You will make new friends. Your first paycheck will be a little depressing because of all the deductions that are taken out.

e. Even with a job, you can still work with Vollara on a part time basis!

Start-up "networking" can be exciting one day and scary the next...

No guaranteed paycheck. You MUST think in terms of 6 months or more of foundation building.

 

Many friends and prospects will tell you you're crazy. Doubts will besiege you.

 

A lot of the training is "on your own." Some people are undisciplined about self education.

 

You must work very hard to match this pro forma rate. Many people will tell you they are not interested.

 

Some of your recruits will complain and tell you how hard it is. As their leader, you'll do your best to talk them through their stresses. We've warned you that 75% will be in the "others" category.

 

In other words, self employment is not as easy as taking a job...but the ultimate potential is much, much greater.

Two years later...

Do you have what it takes to stay the course for 2 full years?

5. Do you remember how good it felt when you got your first real leader? And your second? And your third? And your fourth?

a. Networking is lonely until you finally recruit someone who takes things as seriously as you do. The good ones will use Million Friends and they will immediately start recruiting.

b. When you finally have leaders in your group you will feel the yoke of leadership for the first time. But when your downline people start succeeding almost nothing feels as good!

c. As more and more of your time is tied to leadership, you will be tempted to slack off on your prospecting and recruiting activities. It's important to move all the way to your ultimate goal. We urge you to build AT LEAST 12 LEADERS WIDE before you think about easing off on your personal recruiting.

If I really commit to my Vollara business, how might it play out?

Six months into Vollara your income will probably be less than your friends who took trainee/apprentice jobs. You'll get a huge boost when you reach Executive and start making a reliable income. That will take 9-12 months if you follow this pro forma.

 

At 2 years you will feel very sorry for the other guys. If you've kept up with our pro forma rate you will have 12 good legs and some will be Executives. Income varies a lot at this point. Vollara could still be a part time thing or you could be making the best money of your life.

 

 

 

6. The Big Picture.
