The Ten-week "Change Your Life" Challenge

 

Your new career is here and ready to go. Maybe you're just curious at this point. Maybe you want to make some part-time money without disturbing the main flow of your life. $500 per week extra from Vollara would be better than a second job!

But here's what we hope. Maybe you listened carefully to our presentation and the idea of reaching the Ruby rank has intrigued you. You wonder if this really might be possible. You wonder if you have the right personality. Do these kinds of things really work?

Some people think in these terms, "A job is guaranteed; income from a work-from-home distributorship is not."

Indeed, there is some truth to that...but jobs are not as secure as they used to be and part-time jobs are never very lucrative.

As a matter of fact, you can keep your part-time job if you want. Vollara is totally flexible!

Our recommendation is that you start with a Fast Start Pack, a $50 Mini-presentation investment, and 100 of the corporate DVDs. This tax-deductible business start-up plan comes to about $2,250 once tax and shipping are worked into the mix. Four weeks from now your first autoshipment will be free (a benefit of buying the Fast Start Pack at your time of enrollment). After that, your cost of doing business will boil down to $150 every four weeks...that's $37.50 per week. Can you commit to $37.50 per week for the world's finest natural nutrition products and Active business status and to set out on a course to change your life?

Now for the challenge...

Show the Mini-presentation to 10 people in your first week. If you accept this challenge, this will be your easiest week because you have "new enthusiasm" (like when you have a new car to show offa very powerful emotion). You don't have to meet with these people in person—although that's a great technique. You have to make follow-up calls to determine if your prospects watched the program. Your goal? 10 viewings. Depending on how cooperative your friends are, that might take 15, 20 or even 25 emailings.

Then comes the follow-up...

"What part of our little presentation stirred your imagination?" you will ask. Maybe they'll be positive, maybe negative. Here's where you begin to discover how creative you are.

"I'm pretty excited about it," you say. "Wouldn't you like to make more money?"

Again, they might say something positive or maybe they'll say something negative.

Your turn: "I'm going to show that little presentation to 10 people per week,

and some of them are going to want to take the next step. Then we'll go from there."

If you say that much with a smile in your voice...and then stop talking,

your prospect is very likely to ask, "What is the next step?"

An excellent next step is to set an appointment and meet with them. Go to them or have them come to you to see your water ionizer. Or invite them to one of our live Million Friends conference calls. Once again, you'll be learning about yourself. Are you strong when you do face-to-face presentations? Some people are good enough to convert almost every interview into a distributorship and a Fast Start Pack. Other people have to do 4 or 5 appointments to get 1 victory.

Bottom line: Try to go through all these steps 10 times in your first week. And as your first week draws to a close, start lining up new candidates for next week. The minimum goal is to get 1-in-10 on the dotted line with a Fast Start Pack. An experienced financial planning professional might be able to get 6 out of 10 on the dotted line. They're really good at this kind of stuff. It's hard to predict how well you will do, but there's an easy way to find out. Do it.

This training letter will give you some additional ideas.

The Fast Track to Ruby...

Your whole future is at stake. If you can close 1 new distributor with a Fast Start Pack every week for 10 weeks you will be on the fast track to Ruby. This goal gets harder as the weeks roll by because your roster of follow-up candidates gets longer and longer. You might get 1 per week on the dotted line, but there's a chance that 5 others will still seem like worthy candidates. "Should I abandon my 10-new-ones-per-week commitment and rely, instead, on those leftover candidates from earlier weeks?" I advise you not to succumb to that temptation.

Here's what we hope. We hope you will try to change your life dramatically in the next 10 weeks. You'll have to push yourself. You'll have to try some things you've never done before. But it sure will be wonderful if you make it work!

The power of this challenge is in those NEW CONTACTS. I'm not asking you to make 10 new contacts every week for the rest of your life. I'm asking you to do it for 10 courageous weeks. These 10 weeks can change your life in a more profound way than anything you have ever done. I challenged myself in this way in 1995. I kept going for more new people, more new people, more new people. For 4 months in a row I recruited 3, 4, 5 or 6 new distributors. I had 19 personal recruits by the end of month #4.

My group took off like gangbusters. Five of my 19 personal recruits were building groups. I wrote a letter to a prospect named Cheryl Houghton in 1995. Years later she found that letter in her files and gave it to me. One sentence said, "Cheryl, today is the last day of my first 3 months. I have recruited only 15 people personally, but I have 43 people with leadership potential in my downline. In these few months, something is in place that absolutely will not fail. I'm not making big money yet, but I feel really good about the future."

We had a different compensation plan in those days. It paid monthly, not weekly. But I can tell you this. On the 18th of August, 1995, I went to my mailbox and found a $12,400 check for the month of July. In weekly terms, July covered part of week 14 and all of weeks 15 through 18 in my short career. It was the exact equivalent of making Ruby. The average weekly compensation was just over $2,900.

I'll tell you the truth. I don't like recruiting because a recruiter has to put up with a lot of negativity. People say no. They ask stupid question. They agree to appointments and then cancel them. So if it's that frustrating, why did I do it? How did I succeed not just once but in several network marketing programs? In each case...

I was motivated by the future.

I could taste the success that was coming...

I believed in my program. I wanted it to work...

I honestly thought it was a good deal for the other guy, too.

A new Vollara distributor should not focus on the money that can be made in his first few months. In networking we all start at the bottom. Even after a several good weeks you may only have 2 or 3 people in your group. Growth takes time; consequently, the pay isn't very good in those early months.

If the end result is going to be financial security for a lifetime,

can't you hang in there and base your efforts on faith?

As long as you stay Active (a cost of approximately $37.50 per week for 100 PV) — you always carry forward your bonus potential. Even if you don't qualify for a bonus for a week or two, your unused GV carries forward so it can be recovered in the form of bonus money later.

The big money will start to come when your group is bringing in 20 or 30 new people every week. You could be at that point 20 or 40 weeks from now...

We believe a serious worker can and should make Ruby in 1 year. There's no better way to start than by doing your best to complete this "Change Your Life" challenge.

The Million Friends System will help you get there. Imagine having 20 people in your downline who are each creating 10 showings per week. That's 200 showings per week. Somewhere in your group, something exciting is going to be happening every day. So that's your challenge. You have to go from just 1 worker in your group (you) to having 20 workers in your group. There's no better time to start than NOW.

One more important thing...

Your autoshipment will repeat every 4 weeks (you can change it, of course) and as long as you order 100 PV or more you will always be Active.

But don't buy these products just to meet your "Active status" requirement. Buy these products because they are excellent and good for your family. Buy these products as you buy other favorite foods...because you want them!

If that's your attitude, there is NO COST to remaining Active.
