Infinity2’s low-fat The Enzyme Diet™ shake provides minerals, amino acids, enzymes, carbohydrates, protein, fatty acids, fiber, phytonutrients and natural vitamins. The result is safe, convenient and efficient weight-loss, increased energy and overall improved health - naturally, with no drugs, stimulants or synthetic ingredients.

The Benefits of Soy

à  Soy is an excellent source of protein and the only plant protein to be considered a complete protein.

à  Infinity2’s soy protein does not contain enzyme inhibitors.

à  The FDA supports an approved health claim stating that “eating 25 grams of soy protein a day, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risks of heart disease.”

à  Soy has a higher concentration of the amino acids required for building muscle than whey, casein, or egg.

à  Infinity2’s soy protein does not contain any MSG, nitrite, nitrates, pesticides, lysinoalanine, aluminum, or other harmful chemicals.

à  Soy is safe for children and does not affect either their growth or sexual maturation.

à  Soy does not affect estrogen or other hormone levels and does not affect thyroid function.

à  Unlike most soy protein on the market, Infinity2’s soy protein is from a non-genetically modified source and therefore less allergenic.

à  How has the Enzyme Diet Formula improved in 2007?

The Enzyme Diet was enhanced to include the following changes:

1.  Removal of added sodium chloride (salt). The sodium in The Enzyme Diet is only that which is naturally found in the whole food ingredients. There is no added salt or sodium.

2.  Increased levels of essential fatty acids and added conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which has been shown in research studies to enhance weight loss better than diet alone.

3.  Added Oat fiber for additional health benefits including improved satiety and cardiovascular health. Research shows that oat fiber reduces cholesterol. It also gives the new formula a richer consistency.

4.  Increased amounts of specific minerals important to metabolism and weight loss including calcium, magnesium and chromium.

à  Why is soy protein used in The Enzyme Diet?

Soy protein was selected for several reasons. Soy protein is a high quality protein source that has been researched for is potential role in bone health, relief of menopausal symptoms, performance nutrition, weight management and reducing the risk of heart disease.*

*25g of soy protein per day as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol can reduce the risk of heart disease.

à  How does The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood help me lose weight?

The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood uses the power of enzymes to support your metabolism without drugs or stimulants. Your metabolism undergoes a transformation, allowing your body to use stored fat and burn it as fuel. With most diets, your metabolism actually slows down and you go into starvation mode requiring even fewer daily calories making it more difficult to lose your unwanted weight. The Enzyme Diet Superfood shake with Infinity2’s exclusive CAeDS system ensures that your body gets the nutrients it needs, maintaining and even enhancing your metabolism. When combined with a healthy lifestyle, The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood provides your body with the nutrition it needs to support your metabolism, improve your health, and help you achieve your weight loss goals.

à  How does The Enzyme Diet maintain my metabolism?

TED is formulated to provide all of the nutrients the body needs to maintain metabolism. The popular diets of today encourage you to cut calories but these diets fail because they do not provide your body with enough nutrients resulting in a slowed metabolism. The Enzyme Diet is nutrient dense - maintaining your metabolism.

à  How does The Enzyme Diet help preserve muscle mass when dieting?

While losing weight, it is important to lose fat while maintaining lean muscle mass. Infinity2 includes a patented form of glutamine to help preserve lean muscle mass.

à  Why am I not hungry even though I know I am consuming fewer calories?

The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood provides your body with all of the minerals, amino acids, enzymes, carbohydrates, protein, fatty acids, fiber, phytonutrients and naturally occurring vitamins it needs to maintain your normal metabolism. When your body has everything it needs, your blood sugar levels remain within normal ranges and you do not get hungry.

à  Can I prepare The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood ahead of time and keep it refrigerated?

Preparing The Enzyme Diet™ and storing it in the refrigerator for more than 20 minutes is not recommended. Its vital enzymes deactivate quickly. For the best results prepare The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood according to the package directions and drink it immediately.

à  I am taking Infinity2 supplements... should I stop while using The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood?

The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood was designed to support your metabolism while consuming a low number of calories. By adding Infinity2’s Nutritional supplements, you are helping your body to help digest and absorb the healthy meals and snacks you consume in addition to The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood. The more nutrients you consume including the Infinity2 Nutritional supplements, the more you support your metabolism during weight loss.

à  Is The Enzyme Diet Superfood a good source of fiber?

Yes, The Enzyme Diet™ Superfood is a very good source of fiber. Few of us eat enough daily fiber. We should consume 25 g of fiber per day, but the average American only gets 5g. The Enzyme Diet is a healthy way to increase your fiber intake.

Questions and Answers (Medical)

à  After using the shakes for two weeks I am still craving sweets at night is there something you can suggest that will help?

As you continue to make small choices in improving your lifestyle, both your cravings and mood swings will begin to disappear. When you are having a craving choose a healthy snack. Try a piece of hard cheese with a slice of apple or ½ of a grapefruit. You may also find it helpful to take 1 capsule of LipoChromizyme with an 8 fl. oz. glass of water.

à  I have been using The Enzyme Diet Superfood but notice abdominal pain and gas 20-30 minutes after drinking a shake. What is causing this?

1% of the population is allergic to soy. This is manifested by severe gas, bloating, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. You may not be allergic to soy but also may be experiencing these symptoms from either the digestive enzymes with TED, or the increased fiber. Most people who share your symptoms do best by gradually increasing their dose of the product. Begin with 1/4  of a packet in 2 fl oz of water. Do this for a week then try ½ of a packet in 4 fl oz of water,  2 times per day. Slowly build up until the shakes are tolerated at full strength twice daily.

à  I have recovered from an estrogen receptor positive breast cancer. Can I use the soy version of The Enzyme Diet?

Soy contains natural phytoestrogens. The scientific research is unclear as to whether these natural estrogens help protect against or promote any estrogen dependent cancer (breast, ovary, uterus). It would be best to use the Whey protein version of The Enzyme Diet.

à  What are your recommendations for a Type II diabetic who wants to begin The Enzyme Diet Tube Program?

Research demonstrates that even a 10% weight loss helps to normalize blood sugars, blood fats and blood pressure. The Enzyme Diet Tube Program was created by Weight Loss Experts and is a great way to help you lose your unhealthy weight. While cutting your calories, monitor your sugars closely. As you lose weight follow up with your personal physician as they may need to suggest changes in your medications.

à  I started using The Enzyme Diet 2 weeks ago started getting headaches in the early afternoon. Are my headaches related to the diet?

It is not unusual for someone to decrease their calorie intake and then complain of headaches. Your symptoms may be related to highs and lows in your blood sugar levels.  Try eating ½ of an E.N.E.R.G.Y Bar mid morning and mid afternoon. You can also use any of the shake recipes found in “the Scoop” section of The Enzyme Diet magazines. These recipes contain a few more calories and may help to even out your blood sugar levels between meals.

à  I am trying to gain weight. I have a very small build and eat very nutritious meals. What do you recommend?

You can use your favorite Enzyme Diet shake flavor along with a scoop of Proteabolic Protein Powder and a scoop of Mass Nutrients as a superfood meal supplement.

à  Is the enzyme diet safe for me to give my children as a nutritional drink once a day?

Yes, The Enzyme Diet makes a great snack and can be used as a meal supplement. Certainly if you are time pressured, it is also healthier to have a Superfood shake than a “meal” from a fast food restaurant.  You can also add a scoop of Proteabolic Protein Powder to the shake for extra protein. Refer to some of the fun and delicious recipes at www.TheEnzymeDiet.com, these provide extra calories and a variety of flavors.

à  I have high blood pressure. What is the level of caffeine in the Chocolate Enzyme Diet?

The chocolate TED is flavored using real cocoa. There are only 3 grams of cocoa per serving. The caffeine content in cocoa is <1%, which means there is less than 3mg of caffeine per serving. This is not enough to exert a physiological effect as a stimulant and will not raise your blood pressure.

à  Could the fiber in The Enzyme Diet Superfood be causing gas?  If so, is there a way to help prevent or decrease this side effect?

Fiber can result in increased flatulence. You cannot digest insoluble fiber because you lack the necessary enzymes. The normal bacteria found within the intestinal tract do have the enzymes necessary to digest fiber. The by-product is gas. Additionally, the balance of “good” and “bad” flora determines how much gas you experience. Using probiotics such as Infinity2’s Total Flora Support is a good way to reduce this problem.
