POST CARD TEST

My postcard mailing test has begun. See postcard front below. I drove down several lower middle class streets and noted the house numbers. Then I addressed 50 cards (see sample). I've done 100 in 2 days and have arranged to send 500 to business owners in other states. One good hit per 200 would be great.

If we get zero results—or if the prospects are weak —we will modify something. I'm mailing only to homes, not apartments. My "drive by" technique allows me to skip addresses that are unoccupied or that don't look right.

5.5" x 8.5"

Postcard recruiting isn't free. I bought 1,500 cards for 15 cents each and these bigger cards require 44 cents of postage. The low tech nature of postcard mailing means that any new person can do it... and they'll want to if we can show them results. Some may buy 500 of my cards for their start-up. They would just write their name written somewhere on the card. "Amber"

This test may strike out. If so, we will create other card designs until we finally have a recruiting system anyone can use. The objective? Something simple that any new person can use immediately. The flow chart goes like this:

[1] Sign up with a LaundryPure Pack (and maybe a Fast Start Pack based on your circumstances). [2] Use and appreciate Vollara products. [3] Bring other people to this opportunity using postcards or any system you are comfortable with. [4] Take prospects to www.chippynews.com/LandHere.htm and then to Million Friends calls. [5] Duplicate, duplicate, duplicate. [6] Learn to be a better strategist, teacher, and leader. [7] Never give up, never stop, never despair, and never quit.

Postcard recruiting isn't the only way. It may not even be the easiest way for you. This is just ONE IDEA that is easy for anyone to use. A guy with no money can farm out the post card idea to his recruits who do have money. "Hey, Dr. Jones. How would you like to work an entrepreneurial project with me? If you'll cover the cost of the cards and postage, I'll do the addressing and follow-up."

This is a work in progress. This oversized postcard is for mailing to appropriate prospects or handing out to impressive looking strangers.

Yesterday I gave one to a man who chatted with me as we stood in line at the post office. He was a former postal employee and retired military.

"Here's what I'm mailing today," I said. "I think this will interest you also."

He looked on the back and asked if that was my name. I said yes and he thanked me. As I walked to my car I saw him reading the card as he stood beside his car.

GENERAL

There are plenty of possibilities. Each of us has to find something that works for us—whether we copy an idea, modify an idea, or develop ideas of our own.

Your business will be on an exciting track—headed toward a high income—when you work through your procrastination and develop your way to recruit 1 new LaundryPure Pack distributor per week. A network can be built with fewer recruits than 1 per week. That's not a sacred number. However, we have proven that 4-, 5- or 6-per-month is a fast enough pace to definitely stimulate something big.

ANALYSIS OF VOLLARA'S NEW PLAN

I've worked with network marketing plans for 4 decades. Each time I encounter a new plan I crunch the numbers and analyze how much money can be made at the various levels. See www.chippynews.com/Hawaii.htm. Every plan has similarities and differences. Each time, I come up with a career development strategy and start devising ways to teach it.

This is a "go wide, go wide, go wide" plan. It calls for some serious recruiting. Before I let someone misquote me, let me say that all plans call for working deep. So I'm not saying "wide only"; I'm saying wide and deep. How wide is enough? A good initial goal is to go for 12 working legs. that won't get you into the top 20 in the company...but it can take you to an exciting career level that will provide an above average lifestyle.

What do I mean by a working leg? I mean a leg that has a committed leader, new recruits every month, good QV productivity, some geographical diversity, and—eventually—at least 3 back-up leaders down in the group.

Build 12 of those and you'll be in high cotton! That's an old Southern phrase that means a good and comfortable place.

INVESTOR RECRUITING IDEA

Dear Leaders,

This Return on Investment calculation is based on a $650 cost with $80 down. Thus, the investor puts up $570.

Our first draft of a letter to the public would read:

Dear cost-conscious head-of-household:

Our investors will pay $570 toward the purchase of a $650 discount purchase of a space age, money-saving appliance to be installed in your home.

This environment-friendly appliance allows us to do laundry without detergent. You must be a married couple with 2 minor children living at home. You must be employed, have lived in the same home for 5 years, and not be in default on your mortgage payments.

Our investors earn a return that comes from your savings. Fair to them, fair to you.

Your responsibilities:

1. Make an $80 initial deposit on a $650 purchase.

2. Sign a letter of responsibility.

3. Hang this appliance on the wall behind your washing machine (or to the side). Connect the cold water from the wall to the unit and then from the unit to your washing machine: 2 screws, 4 hose connections, one plug.

4. You will get clean, safe, allergy-free, environment-friendly washing results without using detergent, softeners, or hot water. With zero detergent you will never have detergent sensitivities or stiff clothes and towels. Using UV light, this radiant catalytic ionization (RCI) process adds ozone and hydrogen peroxide to your wash water. Our unit is Space Certified and made in America. Models are available for traditional and high efficiency washers.

5. Consumer pays the investor half of his laundry savings until the contract is paid. Eligible families will save $40 to $80 per month. Half of this is like money in your pocket. The other half, your payments, will be $20 to $40 per month. Payments continue until you have paid $900.

6. To be a self-investor, put $650 on your credit card (through this discount program) and own this unit outright. The suggested retail price is $799.99. With shipping and tax it would be about $870 in most states.

7. Pay a late fee of $30 in any month if the draft on your credit card does not clear. Pay the contract in full if your monthly installment does not clear twice in 12 months. Pay all collection and legal fees if you default.

8. A free distributorship (carrying no obligations) comes with this purchase. If you choose to renew there will be a $26 annual renewal. This is optional.

Other possibilities:

9. If you want to be an investor you must first own this technology. As shown above, the ROI is 16.9% per annum. There are other associated benefits.
