How many ways can you use this Million Dollar
Presentation?
1. Study it
(and
the other Chippynews.com presentations)
- Learn the concepts, the selling points, the phrasing, the
flow of the story. Go through all of the presentations.
Notice how they are similar. Note where they are different.
Compare their length. Decide which ones are your favorites.
2. Present it
- For
practice, present it out loud to some of your distributors
or to your spouse. As you present more than one of the
presentations, figure out how you can skip ahead and shorten
the presentations.
3. Participate on
the calls
- Come
on a few minutes early, check in with your name and city,
get to know the various people who attend (the
photos around this slide are among our most faithful
participants).
When the opportunity arises, tell us about an exciting event
related to your business. Introduce your new guests and
distributors.
4. Follow the live
presentations diligently
-
Listen to how the different hosts use inflection, pauses and
side comments. You will pick up ideas on what to do and what
not to do. You may hear a presentation for the tenth
time and suddenly see a new idea or think of a prospect you
previously had not considered.
5. Envision the
future
-
Imagine the day when 20 distributors from your
group are on every call! See yourself as a
presenter or trainer. Think about geographical diversity.
Think about building your group wide and deep.
6. Know your
purpose/Know your goal
- Why
are you working to build a future with Vollara? What is your
dream? Exactly how wide are you trying to be? Do you
understand the concept of building leaders under leaders
under leaders?

What about selling?
Network marketing is not based on selling. It is based
on the start-up orders and internal consumption (reorders)
by distributors.
A
company with 100,000 regular buyers who use, let us say,
$150 worth of products every 28 days, would do 100,000 x
$150 x 13 cycles per year = $195 million dollars worth
of business every year.
Vollara's roots reach back to a time when selling was
emphasized far more than recruiting and networking. Some
of that tradition remains with us. The Million Friends
System teaches that about 5% of us (North
Americans)
are comfortable with selling. Some of the other 95% make
occasional sales, but it is not their focus.

with this company. But Bob's major focus was always on
building a network of leaders under leaders under
leaders.
A
few big Vollara success stories were started with an
emphasis on trade show selling. One major leader started
by focusing on the beauty salon market. Ultimately,
however, even these talented salespeople put more
emphasis on finding and building leaders.
Selling is encouraged for people who are comfortable
with that type of work. Selling can also be helpful for
newcomers who are desperate to make up-front profits.
But network marketing is based mainly on network

Nothing wrong with sending the second
note to the same people multiple times.
The principal of spaced repetition
definitely works. The term I use for
hitting on the same people over and over
again is Chinese Water Torture.
I don't like pushiness so I try not to
be pushy myself. But being politely
persistent is a different thing—and
completely in good taste.
By doing an immediate start-up mailing,
you set a good example for those you
recruit. If a third to half of your
people follow—influenced by your
positive example—that momentum can
propel you and others in your group to
Vollara's highest ranks. Growth
explosions happened for me in Shaklee 40
years ago and in Alpine (a
part of Vollara's heritage)
in the nineties. It's exciting and
hugely profitable.
