Barbara,
one of our newest recruits owns a Brand X washing machine. A
“google” search reveals there is a mildew/mold issue in some
of the models .
Mold builds
on the “boot”. The Brand X washing machine company has had to replace the boot in
Barbara's machine
every year for 3 years. Since using LP, mold accumulations have
disappeared, the mildew-y smell is gone from her laundry except for
some towels which she plans to replace. This is the first
satisfactory result she’s ever had with her washer. She touts the
wonders of LP cleaning up the problem….
If I can suggest: the “magic” formula for
a successful outcome in my old top loader … LaundryPure water
and ecoH in a spray bottle. I have removed every stain except for
a French’s Mustard stain which was reduced to a pale tan… I put a
drop of chlorine bleach on a cotton swab, dabbed the tan residue for
a bright white result.
Expect no
more from your LP than a result you would get from tossing in a load
in hot/warm water with measure of detergent, however, expect you
will be using cold water and no detergent. If your whites normally
have needed an occasional shot of bleach or bluing (use great
care in measuring/mixing bluing), then use occasional extra booster
of bleach or bluing. If grime, collars, food stains, blood etc
would normally need attention, then use the LaundryPure Water with
ecoH as a pretreatment!

Hi. My
name is Walter Costenbader and I am a new dealer in EcoQuest.
John and Gloria Eden are my senior partners. I hail from Biloxi,
Mississippi.
I just
viewed Andy Scott's PowerPoint Presentation on the LaundryPure
and stains. It is very well done! When we purchased our
Technology Master Pack, it included a LaundryPure, and I want
you to know of our similar results with a "stain test" of our
own. I was skeptical and my wife was extremely skeptical to say
the least! We took one of my light gray work shirts (already
dirty from work) and she proceeded to decimate the front of it
with very heavily ground in pink lipstick, ketchup, mustard,
dirt and grass stains! I told her to forget it and just throw it
a way! She put the shirt out on the line to dry for a couple of
days and then put it in the dirty clothes bin for a few more
days. When she got to my work clothes, she put 10 pairs of my
Dickie-style work pants (I'm a heavy equipment mechanic) in the
washer with NO detergents of any kind! She began to fill the
washer. From out of nowhere, she let out a scream! I flew into
the laundry room to find her half in the washer tub. She told me
that she sees it, but she doesn't believe it! I looked for
myself and the water was black, the agitation hadn't even
started yet! You could not see the blue pants at all, the only
thing you could see was an occasionally white pocket floating
by. While the washer was filling, I took my destroyed T-shirt to
the kitchen sink and sprayed it down with a solution of ecoH
(80% ecoH to 20% water). It sat on top of the other T-shirts for
about 20-30 minutes while the pants went through their wash
cycle. When she put it in the washer, she put a safety pin in it
to ID it. When it was finished, you could find NO stains
whatsoever!!! No ketchup, mustard, lipstick, or anything. She
was flabbergasted! Needless to say, that LP went straight on the
wall and she returned her unopened boxes of detergents to
Wal-Mart.
Yes,
this was a light gray shirt, but we were both very, very,
impressed. I have been happily married to my wife, Vonne, for 21
years and in that time, she has never been excited about or been
up until midnight doing laundry -- until now.
Just
thought I would drop you a line from fellow believers!
|
I'd
like to share our first week's experience with the new
LaundryPure. Two events really caught my attention.
First, my wife is blessed with an extremely sensitive nose
to smells or fragrances. After washing her favorite throw
from our couch, she brought it to me saying, "Smell this.
What do you smell?" I took a big whiff and said, "Nothing,
really, besides it seems fresh." "Exactly! There's no
perfume or phony clean smell. It just smells fresh and
clean!" She was very pleased.
Our
second revelation was our front door entry rug. It is
white, of all things, and shows dirt very easily. I had
earlier thought that, of course shirts, pants, socks and
bedding would come clean with "just water", but this entry
rug was a bigger test. I couldn't believe it when I first
saw it after drying -- you would've thought it was nearly
new and not a trace of road or parking lot grime! There
obviously is more to the water than meets the eye.
Count us as two impressed new consumers and dealers. We
look forward to sharing this technology with as many as will
listen.

LaundryPure
Experiences
Because of Ed’s involvement with the Executive Committee with
EcoQuest, I have known of the possibility of the introduction of
LaundryPure for quite a long time. I was aware of design
changes, name changes (originally called EcoWash),
and introduction timeline changes. The anticipation had been
building, and I was excited to try the unit for myself. I kept thinking, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could offer a
product that would change the way people do laundry?”
I have to
admit, though; I am a skeptic, and the “What if it
doesn’t_____” questions were also plaguing me.
We received our beta-test (real-life testing
that follows developmental testing) unit on a Thursday
afternoon, and Ed and I treated the UPS delivery like it was a
priceless gift. We carefully unwrapped the box, and removed the
unit to have a good look. I was impressed with its sleek
design. I couldn’t wait to hook it up! That’s when Ed announced
that it was promised for display at a home show the next day.
It was returned to us on Sunday
afternoon, when we had a house full of company. I had wanted to
have a private trial, but everyone was excited to watch the
whole process. In literally ten minutes, the unit was installed,
and Ed was saying, “You get the ruler and I’ll get the towels.” He wanted to recreate the towel-volume test he had seen in the
EcoQuest literature. We measured the stack of 4 towels we had
taken from the bathroom, put them through one wash cycle, and
measured again. The original stack measured 8 inches, and the
fluffier LaundryPure towels now measured almost 12. As soon as
we finished the experiment, Ed was upstairs to find another
challenge. He found another load, including a pair of casual
slacks he had stained with blackberry jam. He turned to me,
“Where’s the camera? We have to take before and after pictures.”
I have never seen him interested in
laundry in our 35 years of marriage. I’m thinking, “This product
may be worth more than anyone first realized!” With a crowd
looking on, I took the slacks from the dryer to find the stain
gone and the material wrinkle free and soft.
I was reminded that I would only have 24 hours to experience
the unit before it would be unhooked to take for display
again for a series of meetings. Ed continued to bring clothes,
towels, bedding, and everything that could possibly be
washed. Every time the buzzer rang on the dryer, we both went
running to see the results. Everything was at least as clean as
with the detergent and color-safe bleach I had been using. The
fabrics were soft, less wrinkled, and there was absolutely no
static, even with the silks and polyesters. The colors looked
brighter, even after only one wash with LaundryPure. I also
experimented with washing whites and colors together, with no
color transfer occurring.
Ed and I have been discussing how much this product will build
our income as sales are made and people experience it for
themselves. At the end of one of our wash cycles, I realized
that Ed had left some cash in his slacks. As I retrieved the $5
bill, I said to Ed, “Look at this, we’re making money already!”
He said, jokingly, “You’re not kidding, when I put that in
there, it was a $1 bill!”
I can’t wait to get my LaundryPure back from display, and look
forward to finally having help with the laundry!

If I
remember correctly, it was 1957 when my mother, English born, was so
pleased with herself for finding the 100% “fine Irish linen” tablecloth and 12
matching napkins. The color was a soft beige with hand-done cutwork and
faggoting, all embroidered over with darker beige embroidery silk. Mom used it every Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter or other family
gathering celebration. So have I since her passing in 1980. My children have
never eaten a Christmas dinner at Grandmom’s or at home without it being on the
table, and my eldest son is 46.
I
have never sent it to a laundry or dry cleaner. With care, though, it is still stain-free after
all these years. I used LaundryPure to wash it Christmas Day right after dinner.
No additives or detergent. I did squirt a couple of soiled places with
diluted ecoH.
The tablecloth and napkins look great.
I
feel confident that since we won’t need to use any more soaps
or detergents on this ever again, my newborn little great-granddaughter will
have this passed along to her from her great, great, grandmother.
It is
just a tablecloth and napkins, no really big deal I guess, except for having a
nice little tradition. LaundryPure did a great job and I’m grateful!

The following is the testimonial letter from the lady who has a
chicken farm for Tyson Foods.
We are poultry growers for Tyson Foods. My spouse's clothing has
a very foul odor (unintended pun -- fowl odor, too). We are very
concerned and cautious about bacteria being transmitted to our
family, having three children. His clothing had to be washed 3
times in hot water using tide with bleach and sometimes that
didn't remove the odors. Since purchasing the LaundryPure, we
now have eliminated the hot water and detergent and I only have
to wash his clothing one time to remove all the odors. We are so
excited to be using the LaundryPure. The cost of the LaundryPure
will be much more cost efficient due to the elimination of the
detergent and hot water I have been using (and the multiple
washes).
Thanks So Much Bill & Nancy!!!

You have heard
the line about the fellow who refuses to give up his guns. He says,
“They can have my guns when they pry my cold, dead hands off them.”
I feel the same way about the LaundryPure! It is an amazing product
and we are enjoying it very much.
|
We
washed a crocheted Afghan. It came out really soft despite its coarse type of
yarn. Mom's comment was that it smelled "clothesline fresh."
|
My wife Tina doesn't believe
something unless she
can see the proof by herself.
Well, I installed
the LP last Sunday (very easy) and then she tried the dirtiest clothes
she could find, including the kitchen towels. When she pulled them out
of the washer, she was stunned of how clean they were, "...Even better than
a regular wash with detergent and bleach!" Those were her words. She
went on and on about the clean smell of this load, and later that day called her sister in
California and her daughter.
I expect to grow my business with this excellent product and with the
invaluable word-of-mouth publicity it generates.

Is this a better way of
doing laundry? Without a doubt, it is—as
far as we are concerned. Why would we ever want to return to the ‘old way' of
washing our clothing, bedding, towels, etc.
|

We
are very pleased with the LaundryPure. It has exceeded our expectations.

I did 6
loads yesterday and wow does it feel great to just 'toss & turn'— no softener,
no detergent. Just throw them in and turn on the machine! It's amazing how much
soap residue comes out of a load the first few times you wash WITHOUT
detergent!!!
|
|
My
first impression of LaundryPure came from a load of sheets. The unbelievable smell of freshness
in the washing water during the wash cycle simply amazed us.
The last time I smelled that smell was years ago when I used to have to hang
laundry on the clothesline in freezing weather and they would actually
freeze and dry at the same time. We should bottle and sell that fragrance.

My friend
Shirley brought home a holly bush in the back seat of her car.
She has cloth seats and it left three VERY unattractive red
stains. Today I took some water from the LaundryPure and a
clean cloth. Within SECONDS the stains were GONE! She was
THRILLED! Just thought I'd pass along the experience!

My daughter
Janel gave me a blouse that she refused to wear because it suffered
from "ring around the collar" big time! I mixed ecoH with water and
used a tooth brush to scrub it a little. Later I put it in the
LaundryPure wash. It came out so clean that she took it back!

A thank you is
in order for the opportunity to be a part of the LaundryPure
testing. We received our unit right before Thanksgiving 2005.
We
started using it the following week, and it has gotten a workout.
With 5 kids it has been tested on dirty clothes, some soiled with
the remains of dirty diapers, some mud and slush from snow, and a
ton of smelly socks. The results have been awesome!

And
no detergent or bleach to irritate the residents' skin. This
is impressive.

I am
testing the LaundryPure with many different fabrics and the results are blowing
my mind!
|
We
purposely washed some smelly washcloths and hand towels and left them in the
washer overnight. Normally when doing this we would have to rewash the clothes
because after sitting in the washer overnight they would smell terrible in the
morning. Much to our pleasure, the clothes smelled fresh, like they did the night
before. No rewash needed.

As you
are probably aware, EcoQuest has launched a new
product—LaundryPure. I was reserving comment until I
received my own unit. I'd like to list my
observations along with selling points for you to absorb,
digest and pass on to others.
I
strongly urge you to order one for yourself, here's why:
1. I
am what some people call a tree-hugger. I love all the beauty
God has created for us and advocate saving His/our natural
resources as they have, unfortunately, become a premium—clean
water being #1. Having served on the Northern York Water
Resources Committee here in Pennsylvania, I became acutely aware
of the absolutely HUGE amount of pollutants that society dumps
into our waterways ... 24/7, with phosphates from detergents
being the main curse. I live within the Chesapeake Watershed
area although I am 100 miles away from the bay itself and I am
comforted by the thought that I am DEPOSITING SOAP-FREE WATER
BACK INTO THE ENVIRONMENT with this water eventually making its
way to the Bay. This is my first hot button. Remember too that a
huge number of people have great difficulty with their septic
systems due to the clogging action from using harmful
detergents.
2. I
can SAVE WATER. How can I do this? Because I can now combine
whites with colored clothes (sometimes
and with caution) and instead of doing 2 separate loads,
I can do one. Did you ever have just a few items that needed to
be cleaned immediately and, with your machine's water level set
at the lowest point, it still deposited more water than you
really needed to do that load? Well, now just throw in a few
more items and you won't be wasting that water. Think of the
value of this for draught-stricken areas where water supplies
have become extremely low.
3. I
am SAVING LANDFILL SPACE by not throwing away packaging. One or
two detergent and softener containers per month is not many, but
this can be multiplied through my sales and recruiting efforts.
4. I
am SAVING MONEY by not having to purchase detergents, bleach and
fabric softener (there
is no static cling using LaundryPure). It will pay for itself
and, when the silver needle or UV lights need replacing, they
are reasonably priced. This appliance will serve you for many
years to come.
5. My
wash emerges 99.999% BACTERIA FREE. That is a huge issue for
me. My husband developed a Staph infection years ago after
having open heart surgery. He would have had a good deal more
peace of mind knowing that no bacteria were on his clothes—but
that was then. On a personal note, I often transport dogs as
part of a countrywide network whose mission it is to help save
the lives of these fabulous animals. On occasion I have
transported dogs and puppies that, unknown to me, were sick with
transmissible disease. Now I simply take the towels and other
items that have come in contact with this, including my clothes,
and wash all in LaundryPure, knowing it will be 99.999%
bacteria free. Many sneakers are machine washable so you could
throw those in too! Side note. I place my air purifier in my car
to kill anything that may have become airborne. All this to save
contamination to my own pets.
6.
The CLOTHES ARE BRIGHTER. There is no doubt in my mind. I've
washed 3-year old T-shirts to small braided rugs and noticed a
definite difference.
7.
Get a NATURAL HIGH. Just smell that water coming into your
machine. It smells SO good—it's full of oxygen and ions—like a waterfall. A super way to start and end your day.
8. I
am SAVING ENERGY costs by not using hot water and by being able
to combine clothes which uses less electricity.
9.
Because of number 8, I am helping to STOP GLOBAL WARMING.
10. By
eliminating detergents and softeners, this appliance is great
for people with skin allergies. For really tough stains, a
pre-spotter may be required. Along with each order for LaundryPure, I am giving a quart of ecoH. This biodegradable cleaner
can even be used to wash vegetables.
Here
you have 10 great things to share about LaundryPure!
Units can
be purchased by credit card—customers pay over 4 months with no
interest on the unpaid balance.
Wishing you
great success and health,

We noticed that our
clothes do not seem to wrinkle as much. Whether we put them in the dryer or not, they
come out less wrinkled.
Washed-out colors started returning with the second wash. I tested a
blue towel which had some small amounts of bleach splashed on it. The color had
turned
purplish. After some washings, the blue color came back, with a lot less purple
color. That was really amazing.
Our clothes smell clean
and fresh, and we also left a load in the washer after completion for 48 hours
and it still smelled fresh. WOW!
When
we first cleaned out our washer tub we noticed how dirty the top of it was at
the water line. Now it is shiny clean. We
will never be without a LaundryPure here!
|
|
Ours
just works and works and works :-)) We did a load of gasoline-soaked towels
yesterday. First
wash got out almost all smell; second wash passed the wife test.
|
|
This is
BIG!!!!!!!!!!! I left some towels in the washer for two days and there was no
sour smell! I started to do some laundry this morning and I found a towel that
was stuck to the top of the washer drum. The towel had been in the washer for
one week! NO sour smell! I used it to dry off after my shower this morning and
it smells as fresh as the other towels. This proves LaundryPure's
ability to kill bacteria. That's all for now.
|
|
This is amazing! I even use the LP water as a pre-soak and carpet cleaner. The
grandchildren are visiting.
I put the baby’s bibs in a drain pan with LaundryPure water and let them soak.
All the stains came out and they looked great. I’ve also used the water from the
LaundryPure to clean up stains on my carpet.
|
|
You will never know how grateful I am to
be a field tester. God must have had you pull my name out of the list of people
anxious to be an early participant. I am so thrilled.

Xxxx took our LaundryPure to work. The Janitor does 4 - 5 loads a
night and they have a regular sized top loading machine. They wash their mop
heads that get really black. They are greasy because they use Pine Sol. Usually,
they use Tide and bleach and still there is a black ring in the washer tub they
used to clean out with ammonia.
When
they washed the mops with the LaundryPure alone, they were pretty clean and
the washer ring of black could just be wiped out—no
need to scrub with ammonia. When they washed the dust mop heads a second time,
they came out cleaner than they did with Tide and bleach. The washer tub was
cleaner too.
They had a
rancid oil smell in their kitchen towels even after using Tide and Bleach on
them. Washing in the LaundryPure got rid of the odor. We don't know if this odor
is coming from something in the kitchen, or if it is because they use the same
machine to wash the really dirty stuff as well as the kitchen towels, but the
LaundryPure took care of it during this test.
My husband
brought the LaundryPure back to our home; and now their towels at work are
getting that smell again. They love the product and want one.

Response to
someone who asked about blood stains...
Honestly, I
have had no residue with blood stains after spraying ecoH (mixing
1 ounce of ecoH to 12 ounces of LP water). As you spray it,
fresh blood dissolves as if it were melting. This should be allowed
to work for a couple of minutes before washing.
If the blood
has penetrated deeply into the fibers, soaking in a basin of cool
salt water will help break down the protein. These steps would also
be required if I were using the old detergent process.
Oxy-Clean (which
you asked about) is a peroxide-like bleaching product.
LaundryPure water is high in peroxides due to our RCI process.
BIZ enzyme
additive will also break down protein stains as well as things like
raw fruit juice stains… BIZ is no more "magic" than LP and ecoH. An
overnight soak is required to remove the worst of stains like on a
butcher's garments.
Please expect
your LP to accomplish what you would have accomplished with
detergent and hot water. If you pretreated a type of soil or stain
for that, then you can safely presume to do that with LP. What you
CAN expect from your LP is germ-free, fresh smelling, clean laundry
without using the hot water and detergents you used to use!
Expect your
colors to stay brighter, with less wear on fabrics because
detergents drain life and color out of fabrics, whereas LP does
not. You can expect the freshest, softest, most absorbent, fluffiest
towels you ever used; and the most wonderfully fresh bed linens.
I don’t have to
pre-treat every garment or every load. I do not wash black, red,
white garments in one load.. I sort laundry and always have been
attentive to that. Don’t be too ready to think this appliance is
some sort of miracle machine that will remove imbedded soils like
years of oil and grease from a mechanic shop towel load, or 8 years
of detergents in a load of hotel towels. (As a field
tester, you can guess how I know that those are real expectations
from intelligent people.)
Mary Dockery
|
|
I had a great success with
a blood stain. No pre-treating, completely removed the stain with just the
LaundryPure!
|
Several months
ago I got a quarter-sized stain on a white shirt. It didn't come out
in the regular wash (before I had a LaundryPure) so I put some ecoH on the spot and washed it a
second time. It was still there.
Conventional
wisdom says that if you have washed and dried something and a spot
or stain is still there, it will ALWAYS be there. So my shirt was
about to hit the rag bag.
But I decided to give LaundryPure a
chance. As soon as my LaundryPure was installed, I once again pre-spotted with ecoH on the stain and
tossed that shirt into my first
wash.
Now we are
playing "Find the Spot," and we can't. WOW!!!!
Karen Schwelling
PS -
While I was
folding yesterday's wash I discovered I was missing one of
Patrick's socks. I looked back in the washer and found where it had
been hiding. I smoothed it out and its almost dry and fine!
|
|
My
first impression of LaundryPure came from a load of sheets.
|
|
Our
towels have much more loft and because of that, absorb more quickly, feel fresh,
look nicer. I like to keep decorative baskets in the bathrooms filled with
fresh towels. A basket that formerly held 6 towels now only holds 4.
The
most notable and really amazing success for me is dark and black colors. The
removal of past laundry product residue is my only explanation for understanding
why our black garments that had a grayish and therefore worn/faded appearance
now look new again.
One
pair of slacks that had a pretty sheen to the fabric looked drab after having
been laundered only once. Now, after only one LaundryPure wash, the sheen is
back, the color is truly black again. LaundryPure has the slacks looking just
like they did when they came from the store.
|
|
Is this a better way of
doing laundry? As far as we are concerned, why would we ever want to return to
the ‘old way' of washing our clothing, bedding, towels, etc.
|
|
LaundryPure is definitely a permanent fixture in our household. We have
family and customers waiting for them and we are generating more interest in the
business with this prospect of a brand new market.

LaundryPure Water is NOT for Internal Consumption
LaundryPure uses advanced oxidation and the creation of silver ions
to wash laundry. Although LaundryPure is effective at killing up to
99.9999% of bacteria in the laundry wash water, this product is not
intended for human or animal consumption.
Much has been written about the positive health effects of Colloidal
Silver. LaundryPure does not create Colloidal Silver, but
instead, it uses electrolysis of silver to create approximately 30
ppb of silver nano ions. This low-level silver ion concentration is
very effective at killing bacteria as well as getting trapped in the
clothing providing an antibacterial effect as you wear the clothing.
Although 30 ppb of silver nano ions is not a heath risk, prolonged
consumption of silver can cause Argyria, an "irreversible discoloration of the pigment (skin)
caused by excessive silver intake or chronic exposure to silver by
certain tissues.” (Alexander G. Schauss, Ph.D., Director, Life
Sciences Division Johns Hopkins University).
C omments by Dr. Brent Allan, EcoQuest Medical Director:
There is no evidence that consuming ionic silver is healthy for any
reason. While topical silver does have bactericidal properties it is
not safe to consume by mouth. Colloidal minerals are different than chelated minerals
and most are not absorbed by the gut for digestion because of the
increased molecular size. The FDA/FTC both determined that the
colloidal silver product (Sea Silver) was not only ineffective, it
was harmful. EcoQuest does not want its customers or business owners
drinking LaundryPure water with silver ions.
LaundryPure is an excellent product for washing clothing. If you are
looking for a Water Purification Product we suggest you evaluate the
Living Water product line for point-of-use and the SpringHouse for
whole-house water purification.
