The Urso
preparation for Vollara began more than 25 years ago. As a
young attorney he got involved in doing contract work for a
group of investors who were on the front lines when it came
to identifying distressed companies, buying them at the
right time and turning them into something valuable. They
hit some home runs and Joe was sitting there like a sponge.
That's how I
read Mr. Urso's history. Also in those early years he
married a woman whose father was one of the co-founders of
the modern Direct Selling Association. His mind was
