Why Join
Vollara
Short answer: To better your life or health.
The long
answer is more complex.
People are driven by financial, health,
inspirational and lifestyle motives...and
usually it's a mix of these.
Inspirational motives include high ideals
and the desire for acceptance and
recognition. There is no single answer to
this question because we are all so
different.
Have you ever introspectively examined the
factors that motivate you?
|
|
Most people
never think about the subtleties and
inner workings of their own motivations.
A Catholic teenager might want to play
football for Notre Dame. He's partly
motivated by
the school's football traditions but
perhaps more by the goal to impress his
social community (Catholic
parents/Catholic
friends).
Another kid might want to play
basketball in the NBA and be just like
Michael Jordan. It's not just about
basketball and big money. He also dreams
of achieving a Jordanesque level of fame
and respect.
Vollara motivations work that way, too.
It's not as simple as wanting to make
$1,000 a month as a part time Executive
or $12,000 ($144,000
annually)
as a major leader with 40 downline
Executives.
You'll improve your chances of reaching
either of these coveted levels if you
know precisely what you want in your
heart of hearts.
What secret dreams are hidden within
My story can provide some insight into
this subject. In 1970 I wanted the
income that network marketing offered.
At 28, with a wife and 2 kids, I was
about to leave the military. I needed an
income. Most people would have wanted a
job with a paycheck.
But I wanted to
escape
some of the
negatives associated with
jobs...
I was tired of competing based on my
workplace personality and height.
I'm a hard worker but not a yes man.
That would put me at a disadvantage
in many careers. In the Navy, being
tall had been a big deal. In a
typical workplace, discrimination is
unavoidable...whether it's
associated with a person's weight,
race, religion, or gender.
Network
marketing struck me as a career
where I could reach the top based on
results, not by how how popular I
was at Happy Hour.
When the
going gets tough
inspirational motives can be
far stronger
than
monetary motives.
The
option of working at home was also
appealing.
If I chose to work 100 hours a week—as
I often did—that
was my prerogative. If I wanted a
day or two weeks off, that was also
possible.
|
I also wanted to use
my ideas and creativity.
So there were multiple reasons.
Networking
didn't
offer
an
income
guarantee. On the other hand, those
other factors meant a lot to me.
These inspirational factors helped
shape my decision to do network
marketing.
Did
I have
some
hang-ups that you don't have? Maybe
so. Then again, I suppose we all
have some quirks and peccadilloes.
peccadillo -
noun - slight or petty sins, slight
faults
As a
kid, I'd been your basic nerd: never in
trouble, good grades, no social life,
Mr. Nobody.
In network marketing I saw an
opportunity to prove myself. It is
annoying to go unnoticed when
in your own eyes
you're doing good work.
Networking
became my mechanism for proving my worth
in the world. I
had that thought right from the
beginning. March 3, 1970, the day I
signed up in Amway.
Eight months later I switched to
Shaklee. My upline leader asked about my
goals. "I want to get divorced," I said,
startling him! "I
need to make enough money to support
myself and my wife and kids separately.
My marriage is not good and I want out,
but I have to be able to afford it." My
divorce goal was above and beyond the
other motivations stated above.
Why I am revealing this dirty laundry? I
want you to see that ANYTHING is
possible. However, motivations and goals
only work if you know what they are!
For the best
possible shot at success, get inside
your own head. What you find in there
might surprise you. In almost every case
there will be more than one motivational
factor. You're a complex person.
We all are.
Look into your financial desires, your
health preferences, your inspirational
wishes and your lifestyle dreams. That's
where you will find these answers.
Maybe it will help if you
try to introspectively relate to the
questions and advice in the table below:
|
|
Idea For
Consideration |
Affirmative Response |
Alternate Response |
|
I'm
ambitious. My up-front investment for a
LaundryPure Pack and Fast Start
Pack will be
$2,594. I will spend $150 for a monthly
Autoshipment plus $200 for marketing and
expenses.
Relate to this:
Is
my desire for success big enough to justify this
level of commitment? |
This makes
sense. I understand it and accept it as a cost
of being in business.
Advice:
Reach into yourself (into
your dreams and desires!). If you can
afford it, get out your credit card and say yes. |
Or:
My plan will
be different.
Different is okay.
Ideally, you should put
your plan in writing. Make it as
specific as you can! |
|
The best way
to make immediate money is by recruiting good
people with the same Packs that I bought.
Fact:
You'll be able to sell
more packs if you were a pack buyer yourself.
Bob says:
"If I were
starting today I would want to buy both
of these packs, a cost of $2,594 plus tax and
shipping (around $2,800)."
|
I will try to
find _X_ Pack buyers per month?
What is X for you? 2 Pack Buyers per month is a
good goal if you never miss. A high goal for
most people would be 6. And you?
|
Or:
I don't want
the pressure of living under a recruiting goal.
I realize this limits my early income.
Advice:
Do your best!
|
|
Another way
of making money in the beginning is through
retail selling. You earn $300 from each
FreshAir, $650 or $900 from each LivingWater and
$180 from each LaundryPure.
Estimate:
About 1 guy in 20 is a
good salesperson. The other 19 sometimes make
sales but it isn't their favorite thing to do. |
If you want
to be a big seller:
Order
some extra air, water and/or LaundryPure units
and engage actively in retailing. |
If retailing
is not your style:
Concentrate on recruiting and promoting the
Packs. |
|
Relate to this:
To build a strong and
successful network you must build multiple legs
(we suggest that
you set your initial goal at 12).
|
Advice:
Print out the plan and decide on the level you
want to reach within 4 to 12 months.
|
Food for
thought:
How many Executives do you intend to build?
|
|
Develop
leaders in your group. You should constantly be
looking for people who want to achieve big
success.
This
reminder applies to your personal recruits and
to all sub-leaders (and leader candidates)
within your network. |
In
each leg you should work not only with the leg
leader but with other leaders down in the group
(no matter how
deep). |
A non-leader
approach is less desirable but okay:
"I will focus on recruiting and let my people
reach whatever level they are capable of." |
|
Three Good Reasons:
1. Because you love Vollara products.
Order what you want and need. The
Autoship system is especially
convenient.
Note from Bob Giddens: I also make
separate orders...almost every month.
When you run out of something, don't
think you have to wait a month for your
next Autoshipment. |
2. To
stay
eligible for bonuses. 100 QV every
month.
Rule.
When you recruit someone and they
place an order, a Fast Start Bonus (x
QV)
is generated.
You can collect this bonus
only
if you are "Active" (with
100 PV)
in the month at hand.
|
3.
To set a powerful example and
demonstrate your commitment.
Leadership begins with the person
you are and the example you set.
|
|
Three Good Reasons:
1. For the other guy:
Because you believe the Vollara products
and/or opportunity will be good for the
person being recruited.
This recruiting attitude is crucially
important.
|
2. For
yourself:
Recruits are the building blocks of your
network.
Their orders and the orders of people
under them build your bonus account and
help you move forward in rank.
Ultimately, ALL YOUR GOALS AND DREAMS
can be realized through the development
of a wide and strong network. |
3. To
win contests:
Vollara has contests on a regular basis.
The most typical way of winning is
through recruiting.
|
|
Six Good Reasons:
1. Information, Inspiration,
Presentations and Training.
Chippynews.com is available 24/7 with
answers, ideas, presentations and
inspiration. Regular Million Friends
participants
learn to be fluent with this website and
are kept current on new material.
2.
Strategic
Guidance and Leadership Training.
It's not
enough to love the products and work
hard.
It is just as important to have a clear
vision as to where Vollara is going and
how you fit in.
And it's
important to grow as a leader. Million
Friends helps in these areas.
|
3. Leverage.
The more distributors you have in the
Million Friends System (all levels), the
more you will benefit. Our system can be
training and inspiring your people even
when you are busy elsewhere.
Distributors can tune in to our calls
and use the website from anywhere in the
world.
4. Friendship and Emotional Support.
It takes time to build a high paying
career--but it can be done. When built
correctly, the network you create will
last for the rest of your life. We do
not claim that it's easy. There will be
times when you need encouragement. As a
Million Friends participant you will
have access to like-minded people who
will care about you. Your support will
help them and their support will help
you.
|
5. We don't do hype!
Network Marketing has a reputation for
making unrealistic claims,
exaggerations,
and, in some cases, outright deception.
Million Friends does not do that. Our
materials are straightforward. Doubters
who listen to our calls will see right
away how different we are. Check out our
Mission Statement:
http://www.chippynews.com/YMMS.htm
6.
We'll get you there.
It's our position that you can't fail as
long as you believe in our products, our
company, and our system...and
if you don't quit. Somehow, somewhere
you will eventually find the people you
need to head up your legs and grow your
network. We can't eliminate the
hardships or do your work but we can be
there for you for as long as it takes.
