Leg Charting
1. Each person you recruit is the beginning of a potential leg.
2. Statistically, most legs stop right there.
3. Some legs grows in network fashion, and it is in these "growing" legs that we look for leaders.
4. A leg leader is the first person down any leg who is a builder. We look for several qualifiers that would make this leg leader good, better, or best: a. Recruiting skills b. Good available market (friends, church, former MLM, etc) c. Sales skill -- although recruiting is far more important than selling. d. People skills e. Communication skills f. Other leadership qualities g. Coachability h. Location -- a leader in his own area usually does better than your next door neighbor. i. Motivation -- the reason this person is doing EcoQuest. j. Self starter qualities k. Problem anticipation and problem solving instincts
5. A leg leader is sometimes the person you personally sponsored, but it could be a person many levels down. The objective is to build a strong, self sustaining network. Sometimes one or more of the anchors are better qualified than the leg leader.
6. The sub leaders can be any depth under the leg leader. As stated above, they can be stronger leaders. They are simply the best 3 downliners below that leader. Look for the same qualities as the leg leader with an extra emphasis on location. For reasons of security, I would want to work in as many different cities as possible. Example: Let's say there is an economic recession in Detroit due to the car industry. All businesses will suffer because the whole area is depressed. I would want my leg leader in Detroit to have anchors in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles.
