Let's turn this fish story into a Vollara training story...

My grandfather used to take me on a 1-hour boat trip from Oceanside, California, to a barge that was anchored over an ocean drop-off. On the shallow side we fished for mackerel. Hundreds of silvery mackerel flashed in the water in their eager search for food. Our lines were rigged with 6 hooks so we wouldn't have to re-bait so often. The mackerel could clean 6 hooks within a minute. But sometimes we'd catch 2 in one cast. We always came home with lots of oily-tasting mackerel.

My grandfather fished the deep side—just 30 feet across the barge. He was happy to get 1 halibut in 6-hours. I tried his side a few times but didn't have the patience to stay there. The mackerel were more fun.

Some networkers focus on high speed recruiting. A lot of up front money can be made. Even so, I'm a "deep side" guy. It may take me a week, a month or even more to land an important prospect. But if my guys make a well-informed decisions they'll be more apt to take Vollara seriously. At least that's how it has worked for me.
