The Elton Tucker Story

Warner Robins, GA

September 2, 2007

Eighteen years ago, while working on my job at Robins Air Force Base, my lungs became so weak that I could not breathe. I asked for help and an ambulance was called. At that moment I felt sure I was going to die and would never see anyone again.

I was rushed to the hospital and the doctors and nurses worked on me for an hour before I was able to begin breathing on my own. During my hospital stay the doctor informed me that it was very likely that I would have to remain on oxygen for the rest of my life and keep an oxygen tank with me at all times.

I had been a smoker for 35 years, so it was no surprise that the doctor diagnosed me as having emphysema. The treatment involved breathing therapy and required the use of a breathing machine at home. I did not want to use oxygen for any length of time because I felt it would be as addictive as cigarettes had been.

For three years I was on breathing treatments and various medications. I carried an inhaler with me at all times. Even with all the medications and treatments, I continued to have severe breathing problems. I could no longer cough up the phlegm that coated my lungs, the medication had ceased to help.

I no longer slept thru the night. The coughing was so severe there were many times I thought I should call 911 for assistance. My neck became extremely painful and the doctors said it was from the nicotine having partially stopped up the main arteries that carry the blood to my brain. I was put on a new medication to relieve the neck pain. For the most part, I had reached a point where the medications and treatment was no longer effective.

In September of 1992 (15 years ago), Jim Hughey, a good friend of mine, came to my home and introduced me to the XL-15, an early version of the air purifier we know today as Fresh Air. He told me it would take the odor from a new pair of shoes I had bought at Wal-Mart (Chinese-made shoes, formaldehyde odor). He also told me that purifying the air in my home should help me to breathe easier.

For the first time since May of 1989, when my problem first became serious, I slept for eight hours straight. I knew then I had found a key to my health problems.

This all happened 15 years ago, but I can remember the exciting results like it was yesterday. My sinuses began to run and the phlegm began to break up. I realized that the many toxins in my body were being eliminated. This process continued for approximately a year.

In January of 1994 I stopped using the breathing machine and in December of the same year my lung specialist upgraded my diagnosis of emphysema to asthma. A year later my breathing was at 98%, and my general health and energy level continued to improve. Eighteen years after this crisis began, I am still alive and well.

I am thoroughly convinced that my improvement after the initial crisis and my continued health is largely due to the air purification technologies we have had in our home. We now use the Fresh Air, the ecobox, DuctwoRx, Refresh, and two Focus units. Our home is approximately 1,600 square feet, and we love the air. We also use the Fresh Air To Go in our car and we each wear a Buddy unit around our necks.

When EcoQuest started selling Infinity2 nutrition products in 2000, we immediately added those nutritional supplements to our daily diets. Our water is purified by a Living Water unit, we wash our clothes with LaundryPure and we have two EcoQuest premium shower heads in our bathrooms.

This company saved me and it has been a part of my life for 15 wonderful years. In April 1995 — less than three years after joining this company — we came to a meeting in Brunswick, Georgia, and received a $22,000 bonus check from the company president. That one-month check was more than I made in a year in my younger days.

Sincerely,

Elton Tucker and wife Verneaze

PS - Our first version of this letter was written in March 1995. The fact that I am alive and just a month short of 70 proves how wonderful these products are. I no longer smoke. Anyone who smokes should do whatever he or she has to do to break that deadly habit.

Secondary Testimonial

Bob Giddens and James Clendenin drove from Florida to Brunswick, GA, to attend the meeting where Elton received his $22,222 check. We were sitting in the back with one other guy, and all three of us were very broke. Elton shuffled up to the front like a very old man (12 years later he is healthier than the day we met him; his lungs have consistently gotten better). Only later did I find out he was just 4 years older than I was.

Clendenin and I were very inspired by Elton's story and his financial success, as well. Our other guest joined, but is no longer in EcoQuest. He had the same products, the same sales plan, and the same opportunity as James and I had. Two of us made it to the top (see photos); one did not. Anyone who reads this page has the opportunity to work hard and build a fantastic future.

There is one speech I say over and over:

It is never easy to build a $100,000 to $1,000,000 per year income

or, for that matter, to build any business.

For a network marketing program to work,

it has to have a legitimate product.

Success will require belief, hard work,

persistence, leadership and problem solving.

True success is a difficult thing to achieve, but it's worth it.

I contend that most people will never find another opportunity

that offers the benefits and potential we have in EcoQuest.

Our products definitely make sense (see the bacteria/mold/virus graphs)

and our business definitely works!
