A letter that resulted

in a sale of two DuctwoRx

Dear Xxxxx,

My daughter sent me your question about a HEPA system. She figures my answer will be more complete since her home does not have ducting and she does not have experience with DuctwoRx.

My home in Florida has 4 heat pumps for A/C and heating and I've had 5 DuctwoRx for more than two years. I put two on one system just to see if I could tell a difference.

I don't know the cost of the high efficiency air cleaner you inquired about, but I would try to avoid it. HEPA systems require more energy because they impede the airflow. And all the "stuff" that gets trapped in the filter is still alive and reproducing. If you go for a month or two without changing your filter you will be running a resort for mold and bacteria (those bad things reproduce and some of the "babies" go right into your home). Even though it is a pain, it is important to change or clean any filter system as often as possible (for microbiological reasons, which your husband will appreciate).

My A/C systems stay amazingly clean (coil and compressor) because of DuctwoRx, and the oxidizers that spread through the house include molecular sized hydrogen peroxide and other peroxides. This is our #1 commercial product. In selling this to large warehouse and industrial customers they do before and after testing. The mold tests often come out at zero in the "after" tests and the customer sometimes demands a second test because he feels the test must have been bogus (because the "before" tests were so high).

Both technologies -- DuctwoRx and Fresh Air -- can and should be installed in the same office or home because they have different benefits as well as overlapping benefits.

Michelle is getting married next month and will be moving to Texas (with a plan to return to Santa Barbara later). In humid Houston she will learn a lot about DuctwoRx and it will become one of her front line items.

For under $140, you can buy a controlling device through our Commercial Division that will run your fan on a low level (low speed and low power) when the heating/cooling system is off. That option keeps the DuctwoRx oxidizers circulating year around.

Sincerely,

Bob Giddens
