Languages
Comments about the Russian
translations.
Lyuda did these and in the next few weeks she will translate the information segments
(which are longer).
This will help her recruit Russian-speaking people in America; but the point of
the exercise is to teach Lyuda how the business
works.
She earned
a marketing degree with honors from a university in Komsomolsk-on-Amur,
including a thesis and written and oral exams. She gets along
well with people. For these reasons, I think she will be excellent at EcoQuest.
To Heartland Select and
EcoQuest newcomers I say:
My wife is learning at the same time as you are. She
will have studied every lesson very carefully
and thought about it in detail. As
her "front line" experience adds up, she will
modify the Bob method until
she ultimately has a Lyuda method. That's how these things work.
For a Russian
to do EcoQuest in the US, she has to speak English at least reasonably well.
The Russian sub-culture in the US is bigger than you would think, but it is too small to
support a "Russian only" EcoQuest career. (Note:
product users can come from a limited community, but career builders need a
larger population.)
This truth would apply to Filipinos, Hispanics, Chinese, and others. One of
my Master Managers developed three Executive Managers in the Hasidic Jewish
community of New York. They started off with a bang, but as our message
worked its way through their community it eventually ran its course and died.
Perhaps
someone will come along and build a major EcoQuest or Heartland Select
business
without knowing English. I salute the one who does this!
People from other language
groups often say they could do better if they had literature in their language.
The best answer is that you should create your own literature. Anyone who
wants to translate this site into another language—complete with good
proof-reading—can sent it to me for publication. If your translations are clear
and easy to transpose I'll make a "Check It Out" page
with English and your language just as I have done with English and Russian.
