EcoQuest can be done casually with sales made at your discretion. Two sales per month are worth over $500 in commissions. For a part time Manager, $80,000 per year is very possible...and some people make five or ten times that much. The cost to get started is $25 and there are no commitments to make. Trying the "House Odor Experiment."

 

 

The House Odor Experiment

1. Begin with your own nose (and the noses of others who live with you). "In a day or two I'm going to set up a Fresh Air purifier in this house. We're going to run it mainly in the great room area, but we'll also move it to individual bedrooms and bathrooms for tests. I want us all to do a walk-through right now and comment to one another about the odors in our home. Is it fresh or musty? Can we tell with our noses what foods we've eaten, how long since we've done laundry or any other tell-tale clues. We're going to compare notes after the purifier has been running for two days." Take at least ten minutes, be as honest as possible and make it fun for your co-sniffers."

2. Go to some relative, friend or neighbor and give them an opportunity to do a before and after odor experiment with you. "Hi, I live two houses down. We've waved at each other. My name is Bob. Do you have a couple of minutes? I'm inviting you and your spouse to come down to our house for a few minutes and help us with an Odor Test. We actually want you to tell us if you can detect any smells in our house?

"Let me explain why we are doing this. We're going to install something the day after tomorrow that's supposed to kill all our odors, as well as bacteria and mold spores that cause odor. We'd like to have your before and after opinion if you're willing to help."

3. Make this same offer with friends and relatives who don't live in your immediate neighborhood but who might take the time to drive over before your unit is connected.

4. Offer this to salespeople, delivery people or workmen who stop by your house during the pre-purification period.

5. Maintain a log. Register these people by name, address, phone, email and time/date of their visits. Ask them to comment on [1] first impression, [2] general freshness, [3] musty smells, [4] food smells, [5] pet smells, [6] people smells, [7] building material smells, [8] mold smells and [9] anything else??

6. Invite all these people back after two days of purification.

 

Bob Giddens heard about EcoQuest in 1995. "I owed $200,000 to IRS and another $100,000 to credit card companies and three friends. I was thinking I would be making hamburgers in lieu of retirement. When Doug Jackson called I immediately told him I wasn't interested, and I meant it. But he stayed cool. He said he was in his fourth month and if things kept going the way they were, he'd make $12,000 for the month. I continued to claim no interest, but on the inside I could feel my ambitions and dream mechanisms coming to life. He invited me to a meeting and my number one objective was to see the big shots and find out how well they were doing. Fortunately, I met Ev Nelson who had just received a $25,000 check and Wayne Zimmermann who was the #1 producer. Through that initial exposure (which can now be achieved via websites and conference calls), I saw that a career could be built if a person had a lot of desire and was willing to work his way up the ladder.

"I bought 11 air purifiers (with borrowed money) and have never looked back. In my fourth month I made Sales Manager and in August, 1995, I got my first Manager-level check. My group of roughly 200 people had ordered 200 air purifiers! The resulting, incredibly beautiful check was for $12,400. I've received 12.5 years of larger checks, but that first one was the most special. People who are NOT in financial trouble find other reasons to join. I had other reasons. I wanted to help make a difference with a good company. I wanted to build an income that would continue even if I became unable to work. I wanted a lot of personal freedom and an exciting career where I could prove myself. All of these things and more have come true."
