Testimony of Jeff Walker
At
the age of 34, my father had a heart attack. Although his heart was
not bad, his artery went into a spasm due to massive
stress. Luckily, this was not fatal; however, it was a wakeup call
for him to take better care of himself.
At 26, my health is very important to
me—especially considering my family history. I was once told that a
person can either pay for their health now, by maintaining it

Eat Your Veggies
According to the National
Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), job stress is
a factor in health complaints more often than family or financial
problems.
A ComPsych Corporation internal survey
indicated that sixty percent of their employees reported high levels
of stress. Stress manifests itself as muscular pain, immune system
weakness, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, digestive
disorders and problem with the reproductive system.
The free radical theory of illness states
that health and resistance capability benefit from having levels of
antioxidant that are high enough to absorb as many free radicals as
possible. Activity itself is a source of free radicals; so it makes
sense for all busy people to supplement with antioxidants.
The minimum recommended antioxidant
intake for an adult is 3,000 to 5,000 ORAC points per day. To
achieve a high level of protection we should consume 9,000. But a
person would need to eat two pounds of spinach or thirteen pounds of
raw tomatoes to get 9,000 points.
Ideally,
consume the best diet you can (a third or half of
what you see in our photo), add two to four ounces of
Re:Plenish and include a daily dose of Re:Fuel.
This mix of fruits and vegetables comes
to about 10,000 ORAC points. Most Americans do not eat this many
fruits and vegetables every three or four days.
