August Online Newsletter Hello, Website Readers! This is the first time I have taken a segment of my printed newsletter and published it on the Website. On June 30, 2004, I sent a Fresh Air to Gxxxx Vxxxxxx in Orland Hills for a 3-day trial. Four days after receiving it he called me. The night before he couldn't sleep and wound up watching an infomercial. The price of an Oreck, he said, was half that of the Fresh Air and he felt he had to try it. He wanted to send back the Fresh Air. Since I know our Fresh Air is the ONLY air purification system that works, I told him not to send it back but to turn it off, try the Oreck and let me know the results of his test. He promised to be perfectly honest and said he would write, no matter the outcome. This morning I received this email and wanted to share it with you. As I promised, if I decided on Living Air, I would write this message to thank you for your exceptional support and honesty. While the price difference is significant, I feel the Living Air is far superior to the Oreck. The room simple feels cleaner and fresher with the Living Air. The Oreck is little more than an "Ionic Breeze with a fan." It does what it says it does, but that's not much! The fan is louder in all modes except the "silence" mode. The selector switch has a "cheap" feel and the only control I have is over the fan speed. It also uses a charcoal filter to clean the air of odors and that's a maintenance item. If I wasn't aware of the Living Air I probably would be satisfied with the Oreck and feel that it does more than the Sharper Image unit but having tried the Living Air, it is now apparent that the Oreck is a "Chevy" where the Living Air is a "Porsche." I had considered buying two Orecks and spend $100 less but I would rather have one Living Air. Please finalize the purchase and charge my credit card. Thank you again for you patience. Regards, Gxxxx Vxxxxxx --- --- --- Business Story and Progress Report “I just wanted to let you know how things are progressing...” Bob, We’ve been in a little less than two months and we are about to make Fast Start Distributor based on the new date we got at the July Success Institute. I have three dealers signed up. Two have Success Packs, the third will buy his today or tomorrow. Five additional people are seriously considering the business. Three or four others are “interested.” We are working on a multiple unit sale to the school system where my wife teaches. Kelli also made a sale to a daycare facility yesterday and is getting a testimonial letter (our third local testimonial). There are no referrals from this one because I’m meeting with the owner and her son this weekend to present the business opportunity. The son has already been checking us out. He has put up a sign that says, “Ask about Fresh Air.” This will be a good Leg—they have lots of contacts all over Kentucky and Tennessee. I have a conference call with a couple in Arkansas to sign them up tonight. I’m scheduled to be at their home to do an opportunity meeting on August 6. We also have an opportunity meeting at one of my downline’s homes this Friday. We placed 5 drop boxes and we have an ad coming out in a paper in an adjoining county. This is exciting! Neither Kelli nor I can seem to get excited about our regular careers! We can’t get to sleep at night. We don’t do TV or radio anymore except for CDs and tapes. Our schedules prevent us from going to Dallas this year but this is the only year we will ever miss. We are bringing a group to the Success Institute in Greeneville in September.
