Many networking companies have excellent and catchy capture pages. Short movies and voice-over messages are very effective. But are the stories they tell and the promises they make 100% true? Exaggerated recruiting pitches make my skin crawl. So we offer a system where no puffed up promises were made—a presentation I'd like to be exposed to... one you would not be ashamed to show anyone. We don't care if our batting average is low; we just don't want to mislead anyone.

Open this page (link at top) with the thought in mind that you are a brand new prospect. You might be an EQ distributor's friend. You might be a total stranger who got a cold call or answered an ad. Or maybe you met Mila Giddens in the Towne Center Mall in Sanford, FL, and promised you would look at her web page. As of 12/31/09, thirty-six of these are cut into little one-sixth page slips for for Mila (18 slips) and Asya & Andrey (18 slips). 

On Monday I will have a larger supply printed on card stock and cut professionally.

I will also prepare the letter for small businesses.

I will make some of these slips for me, too.

Can you put these slips on a windshield and hope for success? Well, you can try...but the return will be very bad. If you do this in a mall or store parking lot they will send a security person or call the police. I've been there and done that. I know the return is close to zero and I know a security guy will show up sooner than you think, Don't look for shortcuts that will get you in trouble.

We will tell ABC Hair Salon that we'll give a $50 ABC Salon coupon to any prospect from their salon who joins EQ with a water system. Mila will enjoy doing this. She will visit dozens or hundreds of small businesses in the next 2 months. In each case, we will provide slips for their counter. It's a numbers game. It's also a "find the right kind of prospect" game. A health club, veterinary office, or medical waiting room might be better places (than a salon) to find the right prospects. But don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with salons.

I will prepare a letter for Mila to take into small businesses. It will contain our offer and show a sample of the counter coupon (above). It will instruct them to visit the web site before they decide if they want to participate.

"Then call us. We will bring a supply of counter coupons on colored card stock for your place of business. As your stack runs low we will resupply you. Let customers pick these up on their own or tell them they might qualify for a $50 coupon. Join the network and be in the loop or just use this as a benefit for your customers."

 

I told Mila today:

"If you pass out 20 of these every day for 3 months we will have a fantastic new business started. You have to talk to each person. You have to ask for their name, phone number, and email address. Some will give it, and you will enter their info in your Spiral Notebook. Some will not give their information but they will accept the slip of paper. If you miss a day due to conflicting oblications or illness, add an additional day in April for each day that is skipped."

These ideas will work with any system; however, I encourage you to listen to my Echo Boom presentation a few times. It is truthful and powerful. See the opportunity call schedule on my Welcome Page

Some speculation. If we hand out 300 slips in a month, how many people will visit this page? 60? Of those who visit, how many will contact us? Maybe 6? This will not be our ONLY prospecting method, but it feels like a good method to me. We will learn the true percentages as we go.

What results can we expect when we have 10 downliners using this system (3,000 slips a month)? Maybe they won't all be faithful to their goal. Maybe only 1,000 slip will be put out each month. If we have 100 downliners doing this the number of contacts could be 10,000 per month. That's a lot of coverage!

Let's be realistic. Some people will do this for 1 month but they won't keep doing it every month. No problem. We have to keep adding new distributors into the rotation. We'll also get other leaders to promote and teach this system. If I can get 50 leaders to go for 10,000 per month...wow!

50 x 10,000 = 500,000 per month

20% visit the web site = 100,000 hits

10% of those call their sponsor - 10,000 prospects

recruit 1 in 4 = 2,500 new distributors per month

(more than the whole company is recruiting right now -- from just one method) 

Here's another collateral benefit. People who do this become more bold about doing regular prospecting with their friends and workmates. This method empowers people because it is so easy. It's simple enough that a new person can be in full swing within just a few hours.
